PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The documents would have been reviewed before and during the hearing. The panel are supposed to publish a verdict at the end of, or as soon as possible after the end of, the hearing. They won't still be sitting there ploughing through the evidence trying to make their minds up.

One thought occurred to me earlier. Stefan's assertion is that nothing has been communicated to the club, either formally or informally. If so, what's the club's reaction? Do they just sit there and meekly accept it'll come when it comes, without any communication with the PL or Murray Rosen? Or is there a constant to-and-fro between the parties, with City getting more and more agitated and demanding an outcome, or a timeline for one? Is Simon Cliff on the phone to Rosen every day?
I just wonder if the KCs involved are making a point that if any party coagulates individual cases into one the process simply stalls.
To be fair when PL had their Appeal process it was just rubber stamping but insisting on UK law makes the process almost unworkable from a time perspective.

Don't blame us they say we didn't make the charges.

Change is afoot I believe as proposed by the PL themselves.

I imagine no-one has leaked anything but let’s pretend they have - who gets the judgement once it’s been handed down? Are those same people bound to some kind of confidentiality clause to prevent leaking until both sides have had a chance to read and respond to the judgement? Leaks just don’t seem plausible which of course then makes a mockery of all the shouters on twitter

These people banging on about points deductions, trophies being taken of City.

Why isnt there the same outcry over Chelsea getting away with far worst then what City are accused of ?

Going by Chelsea punishment if City are guilty its going to be less then a 10 million fine that's all.
If they are 10m for 74 charges, then it works out as about 16m for our 115. Bargain, that.

If there was anything out there concrete and leaked the likes of Oliver Holt would be writing an article and stating it as matter as fact like he did about a sponsor leaking that Pep was leaving. Non of this has happened so it’s just noise to get clicks on websites.

I still cant help but think they are negotiating the fall out over the verdict and cant agree on the damage limitation for who lost.
Which party would want the delay though? City are guilty until proven innocent, so there’s no point in us requesting a delay, whatever the outcome.
The PL are under huge pressure with this case and, whatever the outcome, there’s no reason for them to request a delay.
Finally, whoever has substantively ’won’ would surely just tell the other side to bugger off when a delay was requested?

If we had lost on the major charges it would have been leaked or announced imo mate.

does anyone think it will come out before WC starts?
more chance that panel took first two weeks of June for summer holiday haha
while this week they take it easy due to Monday was off anyway.
They’ve had a very busy year, so I can see them taking the Summer off until September when the rumours of imminence will resurface.

Ask the Arsenal support for an update, they appear to know everything .
What a toxic bile spewing bunch of Neanderthals they are.
Only because they get a lot of air time on Youtube. Liverpool and Rag fans think exactly the same. They all get their stories from the same sources and are happy with the bullshit they're fed.

Why do fans of the red cartel and other numpty football fans, pundits etc continue to latch onto madcap theories about City? According to Psychology Today people start to believe lies for the following reasons.
  • The Illusory Truth Effect: When a lie is repeated frequently, our brains become familiar with it, which leads us to mistake that familiarity for truth.
  • Confirmation Bias: We are highly predisposed to accept information that aligns with our pre-existing beliefs, desires, or political worldviews, while discounting contradictory facts.
  • Desire and Comfort: People often temporarily accept distortions because they offer pleasure, comfort, or hope—especially when facing difficult or stressful realities.
  • Social Conformity & Groupthink: Humans are social creatures who rely on the group for survival and belonging. People often accept the lies endorsed by their community or peers to avoid conflict or social exclusion.
  • Truth Bias: Constantly doubting everything is mentally exhausting. Because of this, humans have an innate default to assume others are telling the truth.
Twas ever thus

You'd think even they would be getting fed up with this by now
