PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Pep Guardiola stand open, haaland 10 year deal, puma record breaking deal, expansion deal with Revolut, Guehi and semenyo in the door, hotel sorted, bid in for Anderson.

We're clearly guilty and about to get relegated.....
I can’t see Pep wanting his name plastered all over the ground forever if we’re about to get pied on the charges.

I always laugh when someone mentions the lighthouse at Fleetwood. I've got a business in Blackpool and about 20 years ago employed a lady from Fleetwood. She was a bit rough and she and her husband were heavy drinkers. One Friday I asked if she was doing anything that weekend. She said that they was going to see the Lighthouse Family. I never knew she was into music and I asked where they were playing. She looked bemused and said she meant she was going to meet with the pissheads that used gather and drink by the lighthouse!!!
Is that on Ocean Drive?

City wouldn’t need Pannick to tell them they are bang to rights, if they had done what is accused against them.
I think I may have over-simplified my comments. When we talk about 'bang to rights' there is also the matter of interpretation. Pannick's team may interpret things in one way and the kangaroo court may have a different interpretation. It's not a court of law where interpretation sets precedents for future cases. What makes it worse is that we're not talking about the law and legality here - we're talking about a commercial entity (the Prem) owned by the Prem clubs and drafting rules that need to be agreed with the member clubs. This is why I can see the club finding a way of getting this matter into a proper court for a more definitive ruling.

He has no obligation whatsoever to tell City whether they’re “guilty “ or not.
He has an obligation to act in the client’s best interest and to hold the Premier League to the required standard of proof.
Disagree with your first point. A matter of interpretation of rules. He has a duty to advise the club so they don't misrepresent themselves - acting in the club's best interests. Advice may well be 'Our interpretation is X, Y and Z but the rules are drafted in such a way that they can be interpreted in other ways'. For this reason, part of me hopes we can get this whole issue considered by a proper court for a binding ruling, even if it means having to deal with an appeal from the Prem if things go our way in that scenario.

Disagree at your leisure. He cannot advise City on their culpability- he doesn’t know.

think it might have been bognor regis on the south coast. some friends quit city life and opened a shop along the coast from there. went for a birthday party.
Was there a Butlins at Bognor Regis? I remember as a teenager going to a camp on the south coast with my uncles' family and my cousin and I looked forwarded to our daily escape from the pesky redcoats. Wonder if they are one of the reasons I hate teams that wear red!

We really need a resolution to these charges. The comments section under any article about City reflects the damage done to our reputation. It’s amazing the rabid hatred rival fans have towards us, for allegedly spending a bit too much of our own money. For their own sakes, we need this sorted.

Yeah we took our kids for the weekend many years ago. Some special offer. Themed rooms. Kids ents. crabbing on the front. It did the job.

It's being sorted.
We and the Premier league have no control over the panel's deliberations.
Patience is a virtue.

I think there is something in this, a scenario the PL will not want, then it really would get interesting, a real can of worms.
These PL meetings must be like rats in a sack.
All we want is a level playing field, the cartel are shitting themselves because we've dominated throughout.

The Mods need to tidy up this thread.
We are currently discussing various seaside towns, celebrities who own pubs and Diane Ross.
Why people keep insisting on spamming the thread with 115 stuff I've no idea.

Oh and by the way , Im sure it was 6d for spotting the tower

6d !!

Jeez how old are you?

Were you at our first trophy parade?

Yeah but, has the problem being very close to a reopened landfill site on Jameson Rd which fucking stinks in various parts of town when the wind blows the wrong way.

There's always demos and such going on about it.
My son used to live about 3 miles away in Thornton. Lovely area but if the wind blows in the wrong direction, ye gods. The tip and offending smell were raised in Parliament a few months ago, but as with everything * and any colour of Government, nothing ever gets done to rectify the problem.

Sort of apology for continuing the OT in the thread.
