PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I specifically mentioned the word "assumption". Can't you fucking read?

Usually assumptions are made on the basis of evidence. Not just pulled out of thin air. Those would be “baseless assumptions”.

Assumption - provisional belief based on incomplete information

Baseless assumption - an assumption made without sufficient evidence, facts, or reasonable justification to support it.

So if that's the case & Khaldoon is supremely confident because he knows we "battered the PL" in the hearing, why we're still waiting for the outcome 18 months later? It's a rhetorical question by the way. I know you or anyone else outside the IC doesn't know the answer.

But if either side had "battered" the other, we'd know about it by now.
Not sure City would leak anything, the premier league on the other hand and the cartel that runs it I believe would be screaming it from the roof tops if we're bang to rights.

Football has attracted money from all parts of the world and unless it was AD Oil money it's source was never questioned.
Perhaps money laundering and insider trading etc should count as inappropriate income sources with gambling firms on the fringe of ok.
Abramovich forced to sell Chelsea.

People still use Chelski on here, even though it sound Polish, and Abramovich own none of it now.

I think Sullivan going has nothing to do with it and is far more likely related to those alleged historical sex offences. Levy and Lewis leaving Spurs and Arsenal could well be related to our case though. Levy was named by Pep in his first press conference following the announcement of the charges. No way IMO does Pep lob that grenade in without something to back it up. Lewis has also been an anti-City agitator.
I’m not saying that’s definitely the reason why they jumped ship within weeks of each other but it wouldn’t surprise me.
Pretty sure there'd have been something legal heading towards Pep or certainly some rebuff from Spurs in the press.

The literal definition of an assumption is something that you accept as true without question or proof. In my work, we make many assumptions, such as:
  • We will be given adequate resources to complete the project
  • There will be no more regulatory changes during the course of the project
  • We assume x will or won't be in scope
We don't know these things for sure but we assume them.

A hypothesis is based on facts that you use to construct a position, such as:
  • A significant number of users are abandoning purchases or interactions without completing them, therefore there's likely to be an issue somewhere in the process that is causing this.
  • 85% of the calls we get are for routine information so we should investigate how we can provide that outside of a call.

Right so we’re both agreed your assumptions were baseless and that post was just revenge fantasy with no reason for anyone to pay it any attention.

Jesus, you're hard work. I made some assumptions that may or may not be correct and you don't agree with. Either prove them wrong or STFU.

Not sure who this fella is but I’m guessing he wasn’t subject of 115 binary charges.
Isn't he the poor devil who served 17 years for a rape he didn't commit before DNA evidence identified the real culprit. I think this shows that many of the miscarriages of justice are not the result of bias on the part of judges but are due to the nature of the evidence presented and/or the absence of conclusive evidence until much later. This is the problem with the death penalty, which is irreversible. I won't say judges summing up are never open to question but it is very rare indeed. Juries may be open to pressure but we don't face trial by jury and I don't think there is any real public anger to compare with a murder.

Khaldoon's confidence cannot be explained as the result of the bias against us of the KC's sitting in judgement! If he doesn't KNOW what their decision is he may have some fairly broad "pointers". UEFA's case relied almost solely on emails which were presented but deemed by CAS to prove nothing. If the many more documents the PL present turn out to be uncorroborated emails one ( or all ) of the judges may have pointed out that CAS has already ruled that without other corroborating evidence the emails are not proof of anything. Khaldoon's grin at that moment would be as broad as it was yesterday if the PL has no other evidence.

You normally get two boxers before a fight both supremely confident, and if goes to a decision the loser will be "robbed" to keep up the delusion.

I wouldn't read anything into it.

You thinks Pannick’s attendance note says he ‘battered’ the PL’s silk?
I said a FORM of 1. Not the "battered" bit. The knowledge of what they actually did plus an impression of how the hearing went from the front line.

The case was too technical for certainty or one side being "battered" - which is why we are waiting 19 months on.

After Pep lobbed the Levy grenade, which I doubt he would have done without Khaldoon's ok, there was a flurry of press articles (from shills obviously) saying how other PL chairman had been phoning and emailing Levy sympathising with him and saying how appalled they all were that he had been named in that way. It looked very coordinated, then it all went quiet.
