Do you genuinely think Begiristain is being "sluggish"? Like he's not really arsed and doing things as and when he pleases?!

C'mon, he's trying to negotiate deals for some huge names. It's hardly straightforward, and he doesn't have an open cheque book. It's staggering how some people on here think closing deals of this magnitude are a formality.

I don't mean to patronise, but you're over simplifying things hugely.
 
Seems like no one in the last few seasons has had divided opinion like Delph. Dzeko, Yaya and Nasri come somewhat close.

Fuckin' hell, if you can't acknowledge that De Gea has improved greatly over the past season or so, more so than any other player, then you're just trying too hard.

Fantastic signing and will make the squad stronger, lets get Sterling now then have a good crack at trying to get Pogba or/and DeBruyne.

'Trying too hard'. Your arguing with a fellow blue on a City forum about the rags keeper being 'the most improved player in the league over the last year or more'.

I'm really not worried if he or anyone else from the rags leaves for Madrid.

He's a class player, really don't understand why people are so downbeat on him. Every time we play Villa he stands out a mile as their best player. He slaughtered Chelsea in that game as well.

8 million for England's best centre midfielder who's 25, sounds like a bargain to me.
