I think the chances of City signing anyone who is English who hasn't come through the academy is now pretty much non-existent.
We all know that English international players aren't that good but
Either we're not prepared to pay the cash to the players current club OR
We're not prepared to pay the player sufficient salary to not play every game.

City have been humiliated by being strung along by what would have been a squad player. He was due a medical ffs, did no one think to ask the guy if he actually wanted to come? Amateurish, keep nodding your heads like puppets though, I'm sure having no pressure what so ever from the fans is extremely beneficial to the club.who's humiliated?

i think you will find that he was and that he changed his mind for whatever reason..even the owner of this site has said a medical and video interview was booked for him the compiex this morning but he didn't show up......whether its cause he bottled it or because txixi etc didn't do enough to convince him is open to interpretation but i think it is clear he was a target and was close to moving to us
