Juve doesnt have to accept Barcas offer if they don't want to sell to them.

Villa wouldnt have that option if we met the buyout.

I don't think it's critical to have players in the first week of July. So long as they're here by September thats ok for me.

A bit earlier for me- Sept is three weeks into the season and we have to hit the ground running this time, Josephine's teams nearly always start strong.

saw on aston villa forum that the £ 10m clause was if villa got relegated and the current release clause is higher can anyone confirm.
Jason Burt:
Manchester City also remain strongly interested in the Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph, who would appear to be an alternative target to Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere. The England international has a release clause in the new contract he signed with Villa in January but it is understood that claims that it is as low as £10 million are wide of the mark. The figure is believed to be significantly higher.

I thought we'd have been hearing a lot more from Sherwood about this Delph situation, he loves a bit of the media lime light and he hasn't been backward in coming forward regarding the Benteke situation. I don't think I've heard a single thing from Villa regarding Delph at all.
