De Bruyne?

Jesus lads. We're waiting to finalise dzeko/jovetic being off the books before moving. To move beforehand weakens our stance on all fronts. How is this complicated?

Once Edin moves on the dominoes will fall.

We can't force players to join us if they don't want to.

It may be that The player himself has just simply "bottled it"

Don't care what anybody says it's a much easier ride, week in week out, for a half decent player in the Bundesliga than it is in the premiership, where almost every game is competitive.

Perhaps he genuinely prefers the easier life in Germany, and hasn't got the b*lls to handle the pressure of a premiership season, after what happened at Chelsea.

Had another assist against Bayern in the DFB SuperCup. He really is something special. While I think we need Pogba more than KDB, I would not be upset if we signed the latter rather than the former.

It could be a lot of things, but this Certainly isn't one of them! And just to be clear, we just got smackec by a relegation struggling team. I doubt the German league is that easy.

That only highlights how poor a display it was from City in the defensive aspect for me, I dont think anyone thinks it's easy but there's 1 team that wins every year so it's fair to say the league isn't as competitive. Not that I agree about him preferring an easy life in Germany he's had a breakthrough season and improved immensely since his time at Chelsea, his confidence should be sky high now.

You clearly do not watch the Bundesliga.

To make the closest comparison possible, we had practically the same issues as Dortmund(injuries to top stars, loss of defensive shape) , we never left the top of the table while Dortmund were fighting relegation while playing in champions league. Then there's our last pre season game where we got smacked by another team threatened with relegation last season. Bundesliga is top to bottom a more competitive league than the PL. Their champions league representatives change quite often compared to our league as well. What KDB did last season was remarkable and there's good reason why he's been given all the praise by German media and big clubs all around.

Just no, it's a good league... but that's too far. We got beat by Middlebrough too but like Saturday it was down to a shite performance of our team not because the opposition was top class. The goals we conceded were poor from our perspective.

Does anyone watch the Bayernliga outside of Germany? might as well watch SPL, one team league, Yawn.

Until the likes of Spurs,Everton and Southampton actually displace the likes of Arsenal,United and Liverpool on a regular basis for CL spots I guess the PL is just a "good league" by your standards

How would you actually rate KDB(since this is his thread, with out the help of YouTube highlights ) if you didn't watch him and the competition he played against when given a chance?

So you think a more predictable top four is more significant then? (but only Arsenal is the one you could have bet on making top four out of those teams at the start of the season, in recent years) How about until another team besides bloody Bayern Munich even comes close to winning it besides once in a blue moon(wheey) then the Bundesliga can in no way be considered more competitive "top to bottom"(don't they have it all sealed up weeks before the end of the season more often than not?).

Sorry but... just no. I rate the player for what it's worth but you're totally overhyping the Bundesliga... BPL is better nuff said.

Why would i need to rate him? i can't see Txiki giving me a bell and asking for my opinion, fans around the world watch the premier league, do they watch the Bayernliga??

If you watch the results of recent friendlies a lot of PL played teams from Bundesliga. The results were pretty one sided. And yes they were friendlies. So was ours vs Stuttgart but still loads on here panic like chickens being chased. Anyway it's a rubbish thing to compare both leagues. Even by the number of games, having a winterbreak or another cupcompetition. But this discussion should not be the KdB topic. So l still think he's coming now that the manager spoke out. Time will tell. And if not we move on. I know I will ...

What? The BPL is the more predictable top 4 between it and the Bundesliga. Us,Chelsea,Arsenal,United, maybe Liverpool at a push. 3 have won the league in the last 10 years. Same time span there's been 5 Bundesliga winners. So this whole notion that the Bundesliga isn't competitive but the PL is doesn't make sense. Bayern had it sealed up for weeks the same way Jose and Chelsea ran away with the league last season. So again when the likes of Spurs and whoever else can grab a CL spot like Wolfsburg and BMB did this past season from Dortmund and Schalke then you can make the case.

This is a thread about a particular player joining our club that plays in a different league, it would help the discussion if you have actually seen the guy play and how it his skill set could translate and benefit us. And yes, the Bundesliga just launched a new tv deal in the U.S. that started with KDB helping Wolfsburg beat Bayern for the German Super Cup. They also have a heavy Japanese following because of the JLeague stars that crossover.

The thread was doing fine without my input, i just checked to see if their was any news of us signing him and then i saw your silly post about the Bayernliga being stronger than the prem and more competitive, sorry i can not sit through that drivel of a league, i will trust that our scouts know a lot more than me and what i can pick up on youtube.
