All our wages are incentive based pay, so may he may be able to earn that, his basic rate won't be anywhere near that.

The fact that the window shuts at a specific time creates it's own deadline and pressure. That is why things drag on with everybody posturing and jockeying and then as soon as the window looms into view it concentrates everyones mind, it's suddenly shit or bust time and people drop their bargaining stances and face up to what the reality is.

Isn't it worth it for Wolfsburg to get a few more games before selling him anyway? That's what I would do. Sell him a day or two before the window shuts. Maybe it maximizes the selling price as well.
