€16.6m a season/€320k per week? Have SSN and the Sun/Star/Mirr*r etc never stopped to realise just how foolish they make themselves look by trying to make out that every single player we sign is on over £200k a week? Our wage bill in the last published set of accounts would have topped £250m if that was the case.
 
Dealing with the German press a lot with my writing etc I've come to the conclusion that they are basically just like ours. When a large story is breaking every outlet has it, so basically the same as over here. You tend to get more info over there from your local papers (nahrichten) or individuals connected to the clubs.

(although, depending on the odds, I think all 3 will happen so you might be in for some cash!)

We will get him for about £50m, the media will up it to £90m and will add on his contract money plus agent's fee and will finalise the deal as being around £150m, and Talkshite will go into overdrive over the madness of City's transfer policy while totally ignoring the valuations that a winning team with players like KDB will add to the club.

I don't have to be psychic to see this coming.
