I like the way we structure our wages now, but never realised the bonus element was as much as 50%. Great incentive for the players. Are bonuses exempt from FFP calculations too, or have I imagined that?
You imagined that! Bonuses were exempt from the way our spending was calculated for the purposes of our "punishment" I believe, so they didn't count towards our attempts to meet the terms of our UEFA restrictions last season. They do however count towards how normal FFP is worked out.

That's not true in the slightest. Him playing in their next game just means that he's still officially their player. Why would they not play him? They're desperate to keep him and an injury that puts the deal on ice wouldn't concern them as much as it would us.It was never going to happen today. I think it's going to be the opposite. Once the weekends games are out of the way it's plain sailing and will be done early next week.

No it doesn't, players play for clubs when they're one foot out of the door all of the time. Nasri played about 4 games for Arsenal before joining City one season

Is it possible that Bayern and WFC have a backup plan to 'sell' a player to WFC as a replacement after a 'fake' Bayern bid to delay City's deal and increase the price?
City would have no chance to get a replacement if it falls through and plan A for Bayern next season.
Alternatively City get KdB at higher cost and WFC are able to buy the already agreed replacement from Bayern.
