How the fuck are these second? Seriously? I thought the standard of this league was increasing, how wrong was I.
They're lucky as fuck mate. It's the fact Liverpool and spurs can't seem to raise there game for a new season. If spurs, Liverpool and arsenal all played well they wouldn't get in the top 4. That 1st half was like watching paint dry, terrible terrible football. Spurs and Liverpool seem content to finish 5th or 6th. Hopefully the rags luck will run out soon.

It was one of the worst games I have seen for a long time, lit up by two fantastic goals which were down to individual brilliance rather than team play. Liverpool were getting back into it before that needless penalty. They should have attacked Utd instead of just sitting there playing for time

I told you so! If you look back at my post of yesterday at 11.16am I predicted that if Martial scores, the media will be trumpeting "He's already justified his fee!"
So he scores - and the rest is just as I foretold. Apparently someone (Tyler?)said that he's worth every penny.
You could almost write the script beforehand. I did. Some replies cast doubt on my suggestion. But I was proved right. Age brings wisdom.

I still say for Martial see Macheda and Jizzyjazzy - both were the greatest footballer ever seen on debut - neither blazed much of a trial after that

I'm not as dismissive of Utd as some on here are, if they get on a roll and clubs start shitting themselves when playing them again then they won't be far away at the end of the season.
How often have we seen clubs lie down when playing them in the past?
If that starts happening again then they only have to fluke a win or two against the top sides and they'll be a force.

Having seen whathisface's goal, I have to say I'm disappointed. Expecting a Garrinch-like piece of brilliance I see he had one piece of bad defending and a gigantic slice of luck to help him out. Hyped-up bullshit, I shouldn't be surprised.
I'm still wondering why Skrtel seemed to have thought the game was over because he appeared to be strolling to the tunnel at the time.

It's a shame really nitid have won the league so early I thought we really had a chance this year.
Oh well u bring the next Ronaldo though the youth team in wattshisname u deserve it I suppose.
I'm surprised they have won the champion's league as well so early arh well all ways next year

I don't see why people get worked up about the media frenzy about the kid as it happens all the time e.g Jizzyjzz and Macheda. It's not like this has never happened before is it?

To be far it was a good well taken goal, but i would expect nothing more from a £58 million pound signing.

Now that Benteke has scored an overhead kick goal at the same end as the one Rughead did. Is this going to be shown over and over and over again? Me thinks not.

I'm disappointed that they are currently second, but I take pleasure in knowing that the fans believe they are onto something this season. Just makes it all the sweeter when reality comes back into play

I think we should refuse to play them, it's hardly fair when their academy constantly produces talented kids like this.

First time I heard Tyler's Aguerooooooooooooo scream, I thought it was a cry of despair (followed by a few seconds of off air swearing), and subsequent funereal commentaries on our goals have confirmed it.

He's as red as a London bus.
