Our individual league ticket prices are also among the most expensive in the league now as well.

Cheapest ticket you can get for the Bournemouth game is £39, which requires you own a £35 membership. And that's in the family stand when you bring a kid (which doesn't come into the cost). Most tickets for that game are £42-£50. The new corporate lite areas in level 2 will be even more. Our cheapest league game of the season.

The higher profile games are all £60 and up.

So yeah, in spite of exceptions like £300 season tickets, the wider trend is one of shitting on the core support in pursuit of the £. And has been for a while.

As long as people like you try and shout down people like me for trying to point this out, you're complicit in it.

I'd be saying the same had I not got a ticket. In fact, go find my post about this game from months ago, where I was saying the same thing about the number of corporate jollies and plastics in the away end in April.

Go and have a look at my post history about this entire topic of ticket prices at City and the manner in which the club are increasingly shitting on the core support.

In the meantime, get fucked.

Used to pride ourselves on not being corporate whores because there wasn't very much else to pride ourselves on. I think it was a stick to beat the Rags with a lot of the time. I am very proud of the clubs commercial success because it creates a virtuous circle. Success on the pitch feeds off the clubs commercial success and vice versa. Long may it continue. Not having a pot to piss in doesn't butter any parsnips I'm afraid, regardless of how you dress it up.

The club doesn't have to shit on the core support to be commercially successful.

Fuck knows what the poster above is on about, he's happy that the growth of the club is expanding. You can tell he's not arsed about away days .

Fucking pride, I pride myself following city since 89 home and away, fuck knows what you're on about. Don't think I've ever spoken to a match going fan and talked about our income.
