It could happen. Anything can happen. But its grossly unlikely. Lets try this for size: Aguero and Silva have nothing else to prove in England. Perhaps they should go join Dortmund and try to challenge the Bayern Hegemony in Germany. Dortmund is building something great.

See how silly it sounds, when you insert our best players for Messi?

Messi has many more records he can break playing for 1 of the 3 best teams in the world. Hes chances of becoming indisputably the best, is tied to the magic he feeds into at Barca.
There really is little value, to him going to join the 'future best club' he is at the current best club, and has about 3-4 great years left. He is currently playing with the other 2 best ball passing strikers in the world.
Frankly Messi, Neymar, Suarez are probably flat out the 3 best players in world football right. You really think they can't tell they are in the midst of something mind numbingly special? Trust me they can. You should watch them. There isn't a closer front line anywhere in the world.

Take off your damned blue lenses for a second, and realize there are special things going on outside of City too. Barca is currently in a special place and no one is leaving it anytime soon. No one leaves Barca willingly. They get pushed out when they are not needed. Check the list. They have a ban, yet players are queueing up to join. One is even sitting out half a season.

Contrary to popular opinion it looks like Barva is getting stronger. Not to mention Messi is acutely aware of the effect of Chemistry. He has a bunch of superstars in Argentina too, yet it doesn't work. But at Barca it does.

Why risk that? But hey, you keep dreaming of Messi. I'd dream of us getting the next one. This one belongs to Barca. Let's go makeor get ours.

If we were to sign him then what would happen with the shirt number situations as Kun has only just changed to number 10 and Messi would want it also?

Coz Barca will have to purge some fantastic players. If they are getting Pogba, and already have the Turk waiting in the wing, i' ll say of Serge Samper, Munir, Rafinha, Roberto at least 2 are up for grabs.

No blue lenses,not dreaming either,also not saying he's coming....agree with your points on Messi,Neymar and Suarez.
My point was,there is big opportunities with us now,and more so IMO with this China deal,I'm pretty sure when the news broke most agents will of stopped what they were doing and turned the TV up,most will want a slice of China if it can be got at,BIG BIG money to be made.

Just read my comment and I must admit it sounded a little rude. I apologize for that. I get ur point. And there is some validity to it. That said, Messi just strikes me as being truly Barca. Everything about him screams Barca. If the rumors were about Neymar, I could actually see it. Barca is just the best thing now, and City might be in future. But Messi doesn't strike me in the same way. He even seems more Barca than Argie to me.

Your opinion is your opinion,I didn't take it offensively,the tax bullshit swings a move for me,not saying to us,but I honestly think he'll fuckoff.
Think someone said summat about these investors being in some sort of partnership with the likes of Dreamworks and Warner Bros among others.
There is plenty,as we all know who would like a slice of Messi and the likes,I just see summat big happening,could be completely wrong,dunno,it's just IMO.

Possibly lacks natural width and assumes Zab back to best but 3 signings and that team would piss the league and surely wouldn't be frightened of any other team in Europe?
 
Why have you excluded one of our top 3 performers of the season in Sagna? Great squad player to have. Yaya would be gone if we brought in Pogba would be financially unviable to have a 220k a week player on the bench
 
OK I shall entertain your idea, but if we sign Messi and Pep expect youth to be promoted and we won't be signing Pogba and Sandro.
I have probably gone a bit extreme on youth but would love us to have this approach.
Difficult decision on the left back spot and Denayer to join Fernandinho in central midfield.
Denayer could make the right back position his own but that would mean either Zabaleta or Sagn to move on which I don't think will happen next season
