We have another one that's just walked outside and been blown by the wind lol
Hardly just a wind out there though is it. We often win games simply because we have outstanding players, but if a team gives it an actual go we so often find ourselves chasing it due to being tactically outplayed (Pool and Stoke could both have had 5+ and we couldn't have complained).

Bring in a good manager and this squad will win the league this season, stick with Pellegrini and you're leaving it to chance for me - he consistently picks the wrong team, and fails to motivate the side to get going right from the off. His two most important jobs and he's getting them wrong.

I have defended him and i still like him but his time is over and everyone knows it. Be it now or this summer is the only question but im pissed off at the situation the club has created around Pep and agree, we saw Bob hung out to dry and its now happening with Pellegrini.

Injuries are of course a concern but im also sure that our facilities are second to none and our access to the very best medical care and advice is second to none also so what we do i don't know but sometimes, as a player, a minor niggle whilst not helping has to be shrugged off and you have to get out there and play through a little pain now and then, as Klopp said this week re Sturridge. Its the same players all the time, Kun included who take a knock and we are told its minor yet weeks later they are still not back and whether that's down to them or the manager being overly cautious i dont know but we have to get them out on the pitch if at all possible.

its interesting with Vinny that a minor knock of no real concern coincided with his fall out with the manager re his appearance for Belgium and that minor knock has kept him out ever since virtually?

The club has to make a decision and now for me. Pick the phone up tonight and tell pep its now or never, this week and if he says no then we move on and we move on forever with Ancelloti possibly the man to take it forward.

Allegri at Juve would also be worth a look imo.

Whoever comes in though has got a job on with that back 4!

Not just the back four but how we defend in front of them. We need VK back there and Clichy and Zab fully fit. MDM has to be replaced a.s.a.p.

Pep may or may not come at the end of the season but he won't come now. Ancelotti is not the long-term solution for me and I do not envisage him taking a caretaker role.

I see Pellers is blaming tiredness; which could be a factor but, if it is, he has to select him team and tactics differently. Frankly park the fucking bus if necessary and restrict the amount of running your team does.

I think it is universally agreed that its a matter of when not if Pellegrini is replaced.

Lets face it, if Pep wants the job in the summer it is his. The problem arises if he does not want it. Common sense would suggest that we would go all out for Ancelotti. The man has a proven CL and PL pedigree and has managed some of the top sides in the world. He is also a far superior tactical manager to Pellegrini.

However, the bigger question is where has it all gone wrong for Pellegrini. In my opinion, you have to give him a large degree of sympathy simply because of the volume of our injuries and the key players it has affected. Yet, the other side argues that it is the managers job to cope with injuries. You cannot spend the amount of money we have and still rely on the same 4 players. Don't forget we added Otamendi and Mangala whilst aware of Vinny's struggles and allowed Dzeko and Jovetic to leave aware of Kun's.

Again this is all just my opinion but this leads to his biggest failing. We have become complacent and fallen into a trap where we simply expect the opposition to role over or allow us to dictate the game. The fact is though that when ever a team puts us under pressure we crumble. Technically we are a million miles off the best sides in Europe. Even the likes of United, Liverpool and Arsenal look miles ahead of us in being able to keep the ball. Our ball retention against teams who press us is shocking.

When you play teams who press in the manner of Liverpool, Spurs and Stoke today, you need to either be able to keep hold of the ball or drop deeper and keep it tight. In all three games we have done neither. And in all 3 games we could have conceded at least 5 goals. No disrespect to them sides but not many people would call them CL sides never mind title challengers.

It boils down to the players not understanding the formation. When we played 4-4-2 we had two narrow wingers, over lapping full backs, two strikers who had the mixture of pace, power, movement and strength. We had energy in the middle and CBs who were quick to press. In essence, we had a direct attacking style.

Now though we seem to have changed to a 4-2-3-1 and we look amateurish. We have very little movement, because we have genuine width and pace it encourages the likes of Sterling and KDB/Navas to stay out wide which makes the full backs less effective. We have no runners and unless we come up with a moment of brilliance, we do not look like scoring.

I don't see us being a side who can press teams in the manner of Liverpool and we are unable to comfortably keep possession. This without doubt proves the need to be more tactically flexible but we have a manager who is either unwilling or unable to adapt.

Teams are going to attack us with pace more frequently now and we will need a plan to stop it. Personally, if we were to keep Pellegrini for the rest of the season I would like a revert to 4-4-2. Let's attack teams with pace and let KDB whip fast crosses in. It might even bring out the best in Bony.

Anybody who seriously thinks that a manager of the calibre they want that can

a/ take the club to the heights we want between now and May
b/ is sat around doing nothing and is available rather than working at a club weaving his magic on them
c/ would come knowing - if Pep is a deffo for next year - that all his hard work won't get him the gig beyond May

really isn't sane. If they can name that manager I would be very interested to hear.
Capello loves money. Come in short term, kick them up the arse.

"It doesn't matter which names start as we will play the same style"' - Pelligrini yesterday

That's the problem, he's fucking bone-idol. He just picks players, the wrong players may I add, and hopes they win

Or its orders coming down from the top and the exact same orders would be there regardless of the manager?

Lets be honest no manager worth his salt is going to want to come here for just a few months even if we do offer them silly money. All we can do is grit our teeth and watch this car crash happen and hope we are still in the top 4 come the end of the season.

Not just the back four but how we defend in front of them. We need VK back there and Clichy and Zab fully fit. MDM has to be replaced a.s.a.p.

Agree about the midfield and will even go as far as saying Clichy and Zabba are not good enough going forward.

There is a lot of work to do.

Has the prat spoken after the game and acknowledged that he fucked up big time yet?

Nothing to see here, not his fault...
"We have had to play the same 12 or 15 players for most of the season, but the fault is the whole team’s because we defend as a team and we attack as a team and we didn’t do either well today."

Well Mr Pellegrini... Seems that the result against Liverpool wasn t awkward.
Today was a fucking deja vous.
I don t count to your abilities anymore.
I just hope the team to be fully fit sometime.
And it scares me when i m thinkinkg that last year i was expecting the same thing and it didn t work.

Raise your white flags Citizens !
Manuel Txiki and the president are having too comfy times that they need a shock to realize that...
WE ARE A FOOTBALL CLUB FFS NOT A CORPORATION

I'd love to know why he KEEPS taking Fernandinho off before Fernando.

Now because of this we now have only Delph and Fernandinho as our recognised midfielders. No doubt he will try Demichelis in DM again.

Sven, capello and anchelloti all spring to mind as someone who could do a job for 6 months.

We've spent about 4 or 5 years waiting for pep. History shows he's prolly only gonna be here for 3 or 4 years (if he even comes). We've basically been waiting for him longer than he'll actually be here!

I really wanted him gone last summer because I had to sit through 19 + home games of turgid, mind numbingly boring shit ! We really dropped a bollock keeping him on but I guess we have to soldier on till the end of the season sadly

If he goes he goes but i would suggest any manager even thinking about taking the job if it wasn't pep would be asking the same question and that's, how long before you start courting Pep again?

Ferran, Txiki and Khaldoon have to either persuade Pep to come and commit this week or we move on from him as its getting ridiculous.

If it carries on like it is no one is going to have any sustained success with us.

The obsession is killing us at the minute. The players know he is going and it is showing in their lack of fight. We don't have enough leaders in this squad. The likes of Sterling etc are fine when we are winning at home but too many lack fight and go missing away from home. We have been average to poor away from home since the Everton game and have scored twice in our last 5 away games. Something is not right at the minute and something needs to be done.

Or its orders coming down from the top and the exact same orders would be there regardless of the manager?

Even if that was the case, which I don't believe for a minute that it is, there is no excuse for leaving Fernando on today. Add that to sitting on his arse for 40+minutes when everyone else with eyes could see it was going pear shaped after 5minutes

Other than 'waiting for Pep', I have read one decent reason, and I don't accept waiting is a decent reason, for keeping him
