That last 20 minutes just infuriated me. It has confirmed my suspicions that Yaya just isn't giving us 100% cos when he does get his arse in gear he is still a top player.
 
Should bring him on for the last 15 minutes, because he didn't fucking move in the first 75. The fact that he has the energy to play like he did in the last 10 minutes makes some of the things he did earlier all the more disgusting. That chance where they ended up with 3 on 1 with Mangala, just watch what Yaya does. They get past him and instead of trying to get back he fucking slows down, then actually stops. If I was in charge I'd have given him a fine for that, it was unforgivable. Then he wakes up at the end and shows what he's capable of if he puts in any effort whatsoever, possibly the most infuriating City layer I can remember..
 
Can't work him out, I always think it's tiredness but when he plays like that for the final ten minutes there is no excuse.

He wasn't great before that but the last ten was all down to him.

Silva, de Bruyne, sterling, Aguero......nothing off them. De Bruyne went missing again
 
There is a difference between having a poor game and not fucking trying. One happens to all players, the other is unforgivable.

He should've marshalling the side right on half time. Not taking any of the blame off Mangla but I'm saying our captain should be in damage limitation mode bang on half time.
 
Yaya simply doesn't try.

From the 80th minute, Yaya was brilliant. Best player on the pitch during that last 15 minutes. That shows that the rest of the time he just isn't putting in 100%, which isn't good enough. City shouldn't tolerate ANY player who doesn't give 100%.

Sell Yaya in January IMO. His lack of effort most of the time is laughable.

Don't blame him. Neither do I.

Barry was the last CM we had other than Yaya who can pick a pass.

Garcia, De Jong, Rodwell, Fernando, Fernandinho, Delph - all shit on the ball.
 
80 minutes of not giving a fuck, followed by 10 minutes of actually giving a fuck.

In some ways worse than not doing anything for the full match.
 
He should be now a regular impact sub.. His time is gone, doesn't give a shit.. Can be useful like lampard was... Given his actual quality

More to do with Arsenal backing off and becoming nervy ... which only occurred because Yaya's quality got us back in the game out of nothing.

Sell him? Behave. Just use him fucking wisely.
