Making a Murderer

Expert? No

More informed? Absolutely

Try researching the Memphis 3, Randall Adams, maybe look at https://www.washingtonpost.com/opin...0fc3a2-1aae-11e5-93b7-5eddc056ad8a_story.html

Or the innocence project, the one that denied Avery any assistance following his removal of right to counsel...

Compare and contrast the Memphis 3 case, then you tell me which was 'sensational' and 'sensationalism'...

That Suarez case mentioned in the article is absolutely no way less sensational than the Steven Avery rape or murder trial, never mind both. Memphis 3 is a remarkable case, 100%. Never heard of Randall Adams - I'll look into that.

“Those who never retract their opinions love themselves more than they love truth.” Don't know you apart form your online persona but this famous quote feels apt.

The example was in response to you feeling that this isn't common place in the US legal system, however 'sensational'....

Your quote is surely applicable to yourself also? Anyway, we'll agree to disagree, take a look at those links, persons I suggested, it may open up the proverbial Pandora's box!!!

Making a Murderer is fascinating. Aside from any proof of set up, the malpractice shown by Manitowoc Police Dept et al is disgusting.

Currently watching Paradise Lost 2, another brilliant and fascinating documentary.

I'd also recommend Thin Blue Line, despite it's scripted feel and recreations, and a documentary on the Central Park jogger killing.

Finished it last night and am as equally enraged as most on here.

SPOILER ALERT ⚠

What actual conclusive evidence was there that Avery did it?

I didn't see anything that couldn't be spoken away.

Kratz says her throat was cut in the bedroom yet not one jot of DNA evidence. Then he states that the invoice was proof she was in Avery's trailer...really?!?

After making a big play that she was stabbed in that bedroom, in his summing up Kratz states the event took place in the garage...again no DNA.

The photos showed both locations were tips and both filthy showing no evidence of cleaning.

So no DNA anywhere of Theresa at either location.

The only camera given by her ex-boyfriend to that lady who was directed where to start looking on that vast site and she found the car within a short time.

It took Lenk 5 visits to find a key that was in plain sight? A key without Theresa's DNA?!?

Deleted text messages

Why were Lenk and Coulson involved in the second enquiry anyway? They should've removed themselves straightaway. Immense conflict of interest that was just waived. That alone would likely throw it out alone in the UK.

And don't get me started on the blood testing or Brendan's bullying. How many times did they tell him to, "...be honest"?

Grave injustice.

but how can you say she was even there with no DNA or blood found. makes me so mad that a lady been killed and they pin it on steven avery for being a easy target

what am saying is nobody been killed them bones could be old bones if they messed with the DNA and blood then they could use somebody old bones and plant the test

Ok,just finished this so bumping the thread.
Doesn't a conviction have to be proven 'beyond reasonable doubt'?
Hard to fathom how he didn't walk after the lack of hard evidence and the shocking revelations of mal paractice
by the county law enforcement.
Of course the series was a dramatised piece but surely there's sufficient grounds for an appeal.
The phone messages being deleted give a clear indication to a lead that should of been followed.

What am I missing? There was an appeal that failed. And the line of enquiry with the phone was done, otherwise they wouldnt have found out they didnt exist anymore

So these simple people stab and slash a woman's throat and clean the trailer for absolutely no signs of blood! They then take her to the garage and shoot her and clean that garage also of any signs of blood like it was a laboratory, burn her body several feet from where they live, a key suddenly turns up after the room has been searched already several times, a bullet miraculously appears with her DNA on it, they park her car instead of putting it in the crusher and all this occurs when the Manitowoc police aren't supposed to be doing the investigation and the person at the centre Lenk was been sued by Avery, nope no conspiracy at all then.

^^^hahaha.......that's about it.

Just seen another documentary about the West Memphis 3. Jesus Christ, bollocks to being poor and being under suspicion by the cops in America. Between the police and the DA, if they've got it in for you then you're fucked. They will make up evidence, they'll refuse to look into any other suspects, then when it's blindingly obvious that they've made a mistake, no fucking way will they back down. Utter cunts.

What's the documentary called mate and is it in the net or Netflix?

I think it's West of Memphis on Netflix. There are earlier documentaries about them, but this one is the final one that ties them all together. Fucking shocking - just watch the evidence of the coroner!
