Maybe not complete. But some kinda crock :)He's had different injuries and he's not been a complete crock like Wilshere. He's an absolutely class act when fully fit so I'd have him in a heartbeat if this injury isn't going to cause long term issues.
They might well have wired it given he is a footballer and it won't shift againAs bluemedic says the risk of future knee discolations is high once you have done it. My best friend, a professional sportsman, did it once twisting, with a planted foot and without physical contact. Knee discolation reoccured half a dozen times over his career. He was able to play again but always had an underlying weakness that could sideline him for months.
I just fail to see how you can spend £Millions on a player with such a serious injury.
Its not a twisted ankle or a slight muscle strain, its a dislocated knee cap and as good as he is, I will be amazed if this now goes through this summer at least.
Typical City when all our transfer targets legs start to fall off.
If he has surgery to stabilise the patellar then we can expect a significantly longer period of downtime (++months). If there's no obvious reason for the dislocation & no tear in the MPFL or sheared cartilage lying around then you'd expect them to just try to strengthen the surrounding muscles through a physio regime to prevent re-dislocation rather than operate. They might well have wired it given he is a footballer and it won't shift again
Laporte, Gundogan top targets since months and they get serious injuries during negotiation. Unreal fucking unreal.
No idea how injury prone they are, but PL and the lack of winter break and more games and probably a more intense playing style under Pep is just gonna make injury prone players face even more misery. Huge money and thinking should go into the physio department as well. surely some top doctors can be signed as well.
The skinny (Italian?) guy in glasses looks to me like has no idea about injuries when he runs onto the pitch, and it shows given our players getting injured so much and then they come back in a mediocre shape and get injured again or we just blame former injuries too long for lack of form.
Instead of new signings hit the ground running with a good pre season they might start light training in September?
It could be the difference between a succesful season and a bad one.
I think playing stats should be important part of signing a players, based on his past seasons about how many games we can count on him usually.
