Nice one, good response, mate.Ive just recently fucked off BT too, and told them the reason. Also informed them I will not be renewing next season either.
I get it as part of my Virgin package so it wouldn't have the same impact if I phoned them to cancel it
I've just gone the other way, ditching Virgin and moving to BT. I actually have better internet now, especially when I work from home and need to move large files back to the work server. This is because I get 20mb upload with BT but only got 2mb with VM. I could have paid a fortune for faster VM upload service if I really needed 200mb download, which I don't. So it's not as simple as it first appears.I wanted to move to them last year but we weren't cabled. It seems from that we are now so I'll be moving as soon as my contract with BT ends.

I also have a phone line that works in the rain now, more consistent download speeds at peak time and customer service haven't lied to me yet, like VM did consistently. But these are just maybe individual issues to me.
I don't mind paying 3pound a month to BT for sport, I just don't listen to the pundits. Easy when you've been married twenty years to shut out drivel.
True, they all do it.Give it time mate.
BT do too, I've had em both & you're right they're all the same.True, they all do it.
VM really pissed me off, though. They have a real "budget" feel to their business. They even asked for the remote controls and power leads back when I returned their equipment.
Have you got any info about this price increase? My contract isn't up until September but if I can get out earlier then great. I've not had an email about a price increase though.Due to the Bt increase on july 3rd,anyone can leave with no exit fee.I phoned and finished up getting £11.50 reduction
Download speed has always been just about within 22-32 mb.
I had an email about the increase but if I can get out before the end of my contract then I might well do that.Have you got any info about this price increase? My contract isn't up until September but if I can get out earlier then great. I've not had an email about a price increase though.

It was reinstated with the excuse that the "edit failed an initial compliance test". I assume they mean it showed us winning.absolutely disgusting that the 2011 final was missed off, has anyone had a response or was it just that twitter apology?
Conveniently blamed on Balo swearing, I assumeIt was reinstated with the excuse that the "edit failed an initial compliance test". I assume they mean it showed us winning.

I assume these are small bursts of upload speed required and not large .iso's etc. I only say this as those using torrents will see better results from Virgin over a 24hr seeding period.
Virgin 200 has 1.4MB/s upload not the piddly 330KB/s and the 300 package gives 2.4MB/s. If you do not hammer the bw and call to ask for the fup to be removed they will do that to.
The price is cheaper just for bb with virgin so i am not sure who told you what about prices but they were not sincere.
If you mean virgin media business internet big red then yes that is not cheap but the speeds are full 100 or gbit uplink so 100Mbps up or 1000Mbps.
These speeds far outstrip anything else offered by anyone but you really do pay for it.
