I think A and B just shows the "potential" harm to leaving is greater than the potential harm to staying.....it just comes down to which you see is the lesser of 2 evils...I think if most people had to decide between someones job/home "potentially" being safer if they stay and having to give up some control over the country to the EU, then they would do it....The EU has had part control over us for many years, this isnt anything new and most people in day to day life are not effected by it....now this vote is fast approaching people starting to think we weak to want to stay in and not go it alone......Someone mentioned in a post earlier......the argument isnt "IF" leaving will have a negative impact but "HOW MUCH"....even many of the "outs" admit there will be a rough ride ahead if we leave.....but no one knows how bad that will be......and thats where you need to balance out the risks for you and your families and how secure your finances are to help ride the storm...
List a has no benefits in it at all. You think this is a fair and unbiased representation.
Unsurprisingly list b seems more benign.
Is this really an intelligent presentation of the facts? If it is then the case for in is indeed compelling! Even more so when you take into account the slump in house prices and war with Russia as well.lol

Didn't see the Cameron interview but agree that Gove came across ok inasmuch that he didn't get flustered by the questions and had much of the audience on his side. I was making the point that he actually had no answers to Islam's questions and couldn't come up with any real arguments for why Brexit is a good idea.

I agree mate!;) short to mid term is the only way any of us can/should plan....goal posts move all the time and no point worrying what "might" happen to the EU in the long term.....The negative impact on the UK economy if we leave will be immediate and will hit us now....thats pretty much the only thing experts on both sides seem to agree on....they just cant agree on how much....just dont think thats a risk many of us want or can afford to take....

You with Edwina mate?

Is it then fair to say we've become the 5th biggest economy in the world while being part of the EU?......if so, the question really should be...would we be the 5th biggest economy with OR without the EU?...If we such a strong country and the 5th biggest economy now, why risk all that?.....(genuine question!)

Interesting question. I wonder what our global ranking was before we joined? (Also a genuine question.)

Got to be honest mate....I am! No point being proud but potentially out of work and cant pay your bills.....I'm proud of my country but no one else is will feed your kids and pay your mortgage if things go pear shaped....

Fair enough but don't be naive enough to think things could not go pear shaped if we stay in....

These economists are shysters, similar to fund managers, who sometimes get lucky but often don't.

They have to continually adjust their UK forecasts every 3 months to avoid going wildly askew. They failed to presage the banking collapse in 2008 (?) and its radical effects on growth. No doubt a lot of them are the same who predicted dire things if we didn't join the Euro.

Yet now they suddenly have 20/20 pan-European long term vision? Fcuk off.

Then we should surrender our sovereignty and turn our backs on democracy for the sake of material concerns?

You´re not one of these MEP´s are you? About to lose your job?

It's time for the British people to grow some balls and stop behaving like a cheap whore willing to sell herself for a few quid a week.

I agree mate.....as mentioned, I see it the lesser of 2 evils....its a risk either way but I see "staying" as the safer option and will have less of an impact on the country and the people that live here....long term there is no guarantees but thats the same whether we stay or leave....

I cannot really agree with this, especially about not answering questions. For example if you think that "can you absolutely guarantee that no one will lose their jobs if Brexit wins" is a reasonable, then the answer that "No, the 73 (I think) MEPs will lose their job" has to be an excellent answer, daft as it is.

If you feel Gove was evasive what was your opinion of Cameron? Cameron, was flustered, weak and ineffective. Every single answer he gave went back to the economy being strong.... which if it is the case surely we will survive outside the EU... wouldn't we?

Scores on the doors. Cameron 3.5/10, Gove 7.5/10, Sky 4.5/10. Kay Burley was hopelessly exposed as being totally ineffective. Fasil Islam saw his chance, played to the occasion and both interviews became about him. Gove dealt with that far, far better than Cameron.

lol!...wish it was that easy mate! As they said on the SKY interivew last night...thats a bit like a world war 1 general....standing there waving the flag, saying over the top men and dont have a clue whats going to meet you on the frontline......dont have a clue what the impact will be and what you will be facing.....if growing balls kept the economy afloat I'd be all for that mate but sadly the world doesnt work in balls....its currency and economic growth....not saying that right or how it should be but thats reality....
