As is the rest of his game on the whole. Joes feet wouldn't touch the ground if there was a chance to get him here.
It's strange how people try and mock the best in the world to make themselves feel better about Joe. Very insecure.
It s even stranger that we have an WC GK, HG, body and soul for The club, and yet we disrespect him and his work on this forum. For me Hart is the best in the world and I would not let him go for any other gk. You should appreciate him more!

Saying I'd swap him for the best in the world isn't direspecting him, it's being realistic. Silva is my favourite ever player but if Messi rocked up and it was at the expense of our Dave I'd say fair do's.

This is fkin ridiculous...... Joe Hart has more City blood running through his veins than any other keeper in the world. Not only that is he rather quite good, maybe not the best in the prem but certainly up there. And then this man, who has a lot of loyalty and passion for the club, you would sack him? wtf! Great loyalty to our players.

What sickens me is that all this comes from the City hating press and some fans believe it. It's like if the media say it enough they brainwash the nation.... We have the best all round keeper for our club, cannot get better commitment and skill and ability. Maybe drop him for a couple of games, but get rid of loyal players? feck off.

But, having seen Pep and his lovel heaaded approach I think he will judge Hart on the whole picture, not just two mistakes or press reports about how poor he is.
So true a lot of City fans think they are being more impartial(sycophantic maybe?) by buying into it and regurgitating absolute nonsense on here with an attitude of "you're deluded/gullible" towards anyone who dares pull them on it(same thing with Sterling)... if only they had the sense about them to see the irony in it all. :)

Anyone trying to to say a keeper who has put in man of the match performances against Bayern, Barca, Real Madrid, Dortmund (before the team that gave Klopp his reputation got broken up) is not international level needs their heads checking... it's nonsense, he has a few mistakes in him when he's not focused but that's more to do with his reaction times due to not being focused/composed. Watch any compilation and you will see saves of all types from this fella there's fuck all wrong with his technique, he may have a weaker side(they all do) but he has no "weak side" so to speak. Some of his saves just last season were astounding... opposing fans off their seats applauding sort of saves.

As for the rest of it, let Pep work with him see if he can get his footwork up to standard, cannot believe how spoilt some City fans are, he's been a great role model for this club and given his all because he loves this club as he's said many times... how can you not want to give him a chance to see if he can adapt to Peps style?

Interesting comments by pep from the independent ,ofcourse he will work a lot with sterling as shown in the 1st para below. But not so much with Joe. My personal opinion, he has one season here and hopefully that will be good to cement himself .

Article below

Guardiola knows how much criticism Sterling and Joe Hart received over the summer but did not want to dwell on a tournament in which almost every English player struggled. “I don’t worry about the performances in the Euros,” he said. “I am encouraged, and I am looking forward to working with Sterling and showing him how good a player he is. And with Joe Hart too.”

Guardiola could have been more enthusiastic about the future of the England’s number one, given his own known preference for a footballing goalkeeper. “At the moment there is no doubt that Hart is number one,” Guardiola said. “We are always looking for the best option to create a better team.”

And vice versa

True. Joe is good but Neuer and Buffon are far superior.

He can make as many mistakes as he wants for that shower of a national team we have. As long as he performs consistently for us, I couldn't give any more fucks. He has been out performed certainly by Lloris, perhaps for two seasons and Courtois & de doughnut for a season each, but we have at minimum a keeper in the top 5 or 6 in the world and top 3 in the pl. If someone could scientifically work out the ratio of points he's won to points he's cost us I think a few on here would be tucking into a slice of humble pie and he'd enjoy a lot more backing.

Cheers fella. I'd love to know what was said in between the two quotes that are attributed to Hart's situation.

“At the moment there is no doubt that Hart is number one,” What came after the comma?

I think these are actually new quotes, as I hadn't read anything more specific about Hart. It was more about sterling... Lets see how it develops

Not a chance Courtois had a better season than Hart. As you said yourself forgetting his England mare he was comfortably in the top 4 of Premier league keepers last season and performed brilliantly in the Champs league.

I was referring to the season before for Courtois and last season for the doughnut thief, hence why I said 'a season each' sorry if that wasn't clear.

Joe plays for the 2 most criticised clubs in England so he is bound to get it more in the neck more than someone who plays for the scum and Spain, and he made two awful mistakes for one of them and deserved the criticism, but he is a big man and accepted the criticism and will learn from it and continue to win us points

Lloris makes more gaffes a season than Hart, it's just he looks like a kitten because he's small and jumps around a lot so it doesn't matter when he makes a gaffe from bouncing around like a dick.

He helped fuck Spuds' title challenge as much as anyone in the last 10 games or so last season, and the season before he was par if anything.

Joe is better than any other keeper in the league, but the press highlight any mistake he makes which they do not do for any other keeper.

Well put. I don't get all this adoration for loris. He makes some highlight reel saves but let's in a lot of chaff. As you rightly pointed out, he was terrible in their run in. Arsenal game a prime example.

Correct. De Gea for example made numerous (half a dozen plus) absolute howlers last season which led to goals yet they are all ignored and any mundane save is lauded to the rooftops.

Had Hart had De Gea's season and made his ridiculous errors he'd have been hounded out of the club and country. Instead De Gea is lauded.

Imagine the reaction if Hart let a corner go straight in. Bedlam.
