Correct. De Gea for example made numerous (half a dozen plus) absolute howlers last season which led to goals yet they are all ignored and any mundane save is lauded to the rooftops.

Had Hart had De Gea's season and made his ridiculous errors he'd have been hounded out of the club and country. Instead De Gea is lauded.

Imagine the reaction if Hart let a corner go straight in. Bedlam.

Spain vs Italy summed it up. He made a cock up for the goal, then nearly another in the second half. He saves a one on one which was straight at him and Danny Murphy says he's looking unbeatable today.

Please, De Gea is the best keeper in the league by an absolute mile. Joe doesn't come close.

Who makes more howlers? It's De Gea by an absolute mile. He's another media built myth, lauded continuously for the most basic goalkeeping and excused for all manner of ricks.

Precisely! It's a perfect example!

On that very same DAY, Hart made 1 cock up and 2 basic saves. Criticised non stop.

De Gea made 2 cock ups and 3 basic saves. Man of the match. Best keeper in the country.

It's an absolute joke.

De Gea is definitely over praised by the media and television commentators but he's got all the attributes needed to play for a Guardiola team. He's a very good goalkeeper, who like every other plying their trade in professional football, has mistakes in him.
I think he's the best in the country and he's the only one in England I'd swap for Hart.
That said I'm hoping Joe can prove all his critics wrong and retain his place for us. I'd rather an improved Hart play for us for another 5 years but the question marks won't go away while he's making the same errors time and again.

What about the (considerably more) errors that De Gea makes? No question marks there?

I'm not sure if he makes considerably more but yeah, you always want your keeper to improve regardless of who it is.
Purely off the top of my head, last season alone, absolute howlers...

1) Letting a corner go STRAIGHT IN at Bournemouth! Imagine if that was Hart!

2) Cameron Jerome weak shot fumbled into the net at Old Trafford. Imagine if that was Hart!

3) Antonio's header straight at him, fumbled into the net at Upton Park at the end of the season. Imagine if that was Hart!

4) Coutinho's goal in the Europa Lg at Old Trafford from a ridiculous angle through his near post. Imagine if that was Hart!

5) Absolutely comedic own goal at Sunderland. Header straight at him, tried to kick it away weirdly, miskicked it between his own legs into the net. Imagine if that was Hart!

There are more. Plenty more. These are just a select few that led to goals. All completely ignored. If Hart had this back catalogue in one season he'd have been hounded into the conference. Instead De Gea's praised as the best in the country! What utter tripe.

The only thing all season the Hart baiters had were one goal v Norwich (error) and very odd blaming of him for goals that they'd never in a billion years blame another keeper for. Moses goal for WHU at COMS for example. A fabulous shot. Liverpool away when nobody had a clue that his foot gave way in the turf when diving for that long ranger. Lots of others that they wouldn't hold any other keeper accountable.

I agree with majority of the points you are putting across but Hart did literally drop one to Jeromes' feet at the Etihad haha!

I don't agree that De Gea has all the attribute for a Guardiola team. His kicking is average, looks like Bambi at times with the ball, makes the basic look difficult which leads to gaffes and he doesn't command his area well. In fact, I'd go as far to say that De Gea and Hart have a lot of the same areas to improve upon. I prefer Hart funnily enough.

De Gea is a slightly taller Casillas, but not quite as good. If De Gea suits any team in the world it's Real Madrid for a lot of reasons.

I have give Hart some shit this season,i'll be honest...but in Hindsight,it can't of been confidence boosting seeing who he had in front of him at times last season.
Same with England, dumb n dumber as your Centre halfs. No wonder he was so jittery.
I think with Pep's calming influence Joe will be back to his best this season.

If you cut his feet off he would be rubbish
You've asked me to provide evidence of Joe Hart howlers, which I've done. If you don't agree then we're done here.

Another City fan having trouble with other City fans showing a legend some loyalty.

Why are they so happy to go out of their way to prove all of Harts faults but then suddenly go blind at any other keeper they fancy to replace him faults.

Fucking Bizarre

ps before you reply I couldn't give two fucks what you think of my post.

Ha! Brilliant post, going from "people should respect the views of others" to "I couldn't give two fucks what you think" in three short paragraphs... ;)

Lloris makes more gaffes a season than Hart, it's just he looks like a kitten because he's small and jumps around a lot so it doesn't matter when he makes a gaffe from bouncing around like a dick.

He helped fuck Spuds' title challenge as much as anyone in the last 10 games or so last season, and the season before he was par if anything.
I don't really recall any top grade bloopers on his part, I really aren't challenging you but do you care to highlight these, for me everyone goes on about neuer as undisputed best in the world but I've seen him have some right mares, not so with the Lloris of the last two years at least
