Fair enough. I'm sure you can understand the suspicion especially when we have a rag on ragcafe boasting about being undercover on here for years.

I hope this is true. I'd love to think that the obsessed ones are that bothered about little old City!

Why are people blaming our defence for Hart's form when we had the least shots against us last season, that's pretty good protection no?

And to the people saying De Gea the best in the league?...Just no

Because we watched the games and at times, well lots of times it was keystone cops defending, I am sure I could hear the Benny Hill theme tune as Otamendi ran around all over the place and stroked his fucking beard, Mangala well Mangala, after defending AK for a few seasons I finally ran out of patience with the Southampton game as he jogged back and Mane went passed him to score, the only one to come out of the season with head held high would be Sagna and Zabs well he was below par, age or injury we just do not know.

Spurs conceded the least shots on target last season, we were second least.

I wouldn't blame the defence but the defending left a lot to be desired, we conceded a number of goals last season because we failed to defend high up the pitch and were left ridiculously exposed on the counter.

Nobody should be absolved of blame, that includes Hart.

My mate, not a City fan, is on Holiday in same hotel and watched final with Joe last night. Said he had some gossip but not prepared to share over social media :-(.... Posted picture with young son on Facebook so looks legit. Will let you know if anything else comes of it....

Ever thought most of this was because of the state of the midfield ?

That is also a possibility but I doubt the midfield were at fault for straightening Otto's hair has West Ham took advantage but I concede your point that the midfield was not a good unit defensively last season, even when set up to be one.

wow is there finally the overall acceptance that joe hart is no longer our number one keeper?

Have we found somebody else ?

He will be number one for me as my posts have clearly indicated, 50m+ needed for a replacement. I guess that shows how good Joe is to start with.

Yes but they were totally at fault, most of the season for the defence always been overrun and prone to mistakes.

just seeing a lot of on twitter/here etc acknowledging that joe hart's place as our number one could be on the wain. after a pretty dismal euro's and a relatively suspect last few seasons. perhaps his starting place is no longer a sure thing
It this the same joe who has won a record 4 golden gloves, last time in 2015? At the euro's is one thing but his club form is really good on the whole, every keeper makes mistakes, such is the life of a goal keeper

The media have been trying to unsettle Joe and knock his confidence for about five or six seasons. He got the Golden Gloves award four times in that period. One goal fewer last year, perhaps that ridiculous penalty given by Clottenberg and he would have been joint winner last year - when we had no Kompany just any pair from Dimmy Otto and the Mangler.

If he wins it this season he will have won it more times than anyone else. Czech, Spanish, or Polish.

And of course English. So how many goalies have been in the PL in that period?

The media know that Joe is better that many Blues do - otherwise they would not repeat the same annual exercise despite stats showing the opposite of the case they try to make.
