I think we have to accept that the number of players that are not signing for one reason or another is a concern. I can see the head man getting a little pissed off. as someone said, everything is in place so whats going on?

What are you talking about?

We don't know anything, only rumours, and the latest rumours stated Sane would have a decision by the end of this week. That's not unreasonable.

I see people calling for City to fork over a few more million for Perez, but why so hastily? So other clubs can gouge a few more out of us? Maybe that few million counts towards other players.

So far, we are having a pretty good summer and there's more to come, we just need to be patient.

That's no fault of Txiki or the club. You can do things like we did with Laporte by triggering his release clause, but if the player decides to stay that's their decision. The same Bounucci and with Sane. Sometimes it's up to the player. Pep knows this.

txiki has been more or less a disaster since day once. bar kev all our best players were signed prior to his arrival. perhaps a shout for dino.

Who mentioned Txiki? I certainly didn't.

I said we need to be patient. If a player doesn't want to come to City despite the wages, the resources, the high likelihood of success and the best coach in football then that's their problem. Otherwise, there's plenty of transfer window left.

I don't want to agree with this, I really don't, but from the outside looking in, it could be argued Txiki's tenure hasn't been that fruitful.
However I'm still confident we'll secure our main targets this summer (Laporte aside).

Getting KDB done getting sterling done off a premier league rival ? You need to get a grip. Some players want to join others dont. Some players AGENTS stall deals for mega money some teams hold us over a barrel money bags city lets grab 10m more its not toy money its real hard earned cash. So have a think before you post your negative shit. Plus have you heard how much or if we have bid for sane etc? No? Let the people in charge do there job ss you my friend KFA.

Txiki does the deals - he doesn't decide who to go after - you are pinning stuff on him that is not reasonable. Our transfer targets are collective decisions. As others have said - this summer seems to be going okay - Sorano said other deals are advanced - let's give it a few more weeks before we panick. How did you cope with Swales Bill - now that was a disaster and an anti climax every summer.

we have the best owner. the best set up, the most money (and that is what football is all about nowadays) now the best manager. not one single reason why our squad right now isn't complete and ready to go.

I know this will hurt you but its the truth.

I don't think we could win the league yet without an extra body or two in midfield and stones arrival. With that I think we have a great chance. I have had a rag tell me all week they have a squad far better than ours!
