Unless the players simply don't want to play in the PL or for City? Shocking I know.

People on here need to grow up and learn these signings aren't so simple and certainly not so automatic as they would like. We have plenty of time and there's no rush.

The original Wum certainly has his moments on some topics,yet when it comes to criticism of Txiki......i'm pretty confident i know the score.

Anyway.....lets just hope Sane is as good as the experts state and he makes the right decision ;-)

ok. we'll go with that.

so then which in your opinion was the easier time to "sell" Manchester city to a player. in 2008 when were nowhere, ok we had new money but we didn't have Pep or anything like the facilities we now have. we had no status in the game either. we were newbies. over the next couple of seasons we acquired aguero, yaya and most important of all David Silva. all outstanding proven players. at this time are struggling to attract "might be's to our club.

why is that do you think?

We would win the league with Guardiola managing last years squad.

Our squad is the best by a mile. Our record vs. the top 6 cost us last year because of Pellegrini's incompetence in those games, not because of a lack of quality players.

With Nolito and Gundogan in, we're already improving two areas where players did let us down, and the keeps us ahead of everyone else.

When Stones, Sané and Peres come in, the only question mark will be if the team can adapt to Pep quickly enough to hit the ground running.

I'm not saying its 100% true. We speculate on here, thats all we can do. It part of his job to convince the player to take our offer and leave the other club. We have a lot to offer, its part Txiki's job to help seal the deal and convince the player to join us. Seeing that we could not convince a player from Bilbao to join us is worrisome. I understand they can stay if they want, I'd just like to see us more successful is locking up targets
