Everyone is entitled to an opinion,I respect that, but I have a genuine question.

If Stones is as shit as most on here make out, what is it that Enrique,Peg and Pep see in the lad,I'm not having "potential".
Are these three managers mental and the majority of Bluemoon right?
What is it?

Potential.

They think they can fix his faults & turn him into a great player. We wouldn't sign a cb who has just had a season like Stones did, culminating in playing like a twat in the cup final against the scum.

If he was 29 people would be laughing at the links with him.

l hope Pep can do it with him & also Denayer. Then we have two ball playing cbs who can play fullback & imo probably def mid too.

Demichelis has been released. If Kelechi can come through alongside Aguero, then other players can too
Very true, but it took us selling Dzeko and not replacing him for Kelechi to come through, he was brought in out of necessity rather than purposely. I just worry that we're increasing the number of barriers into the first team by making all these signings.

As someone said, John Stones is a perfect Guardiola player, so I can understand it. But with players like Nolito, I'd argue we should ONLY be signing world class players and filling the voids with our perfectly capable young'uns. That's probably why I'm talking to you lot on bluemoon and not working in an office at the Etihad though!

Players like Nolito are probably there to help the young players though, by being relatively short term. If he was 23, then he's there for potentially ten years. As it is, he will move on after a short time & young players can challenge for his place.

Stones, Sane Kelechi etc to be the start of a future team.

Having "faults" hardly deserves the tag of "shit" though does it?
Plenty player have faults.

Why? He can't report to training until Monday. We shouldn't spend more to speed up deals just to placate fans. I would be surprised if he didn't show up with Sterling and Hart ready to play next week.

Its not about spendng more, its about wasting time making token offers thst ate mever going to be accepted to look like hard negotiators. Surely to god a meeting of all parties around a table would wpuld speed up this nonsense!!!!

Well seeing that we were being quoted as £50M+ for a 29 year old centre half, the figures for a 22 year old and English is fine by me.And why shouldn`t it ? After all its not my money and I have faith in our Club.
Welcome (a bit prematurely) John. ;)

English Premium and obviously the current state of the market makes this a good signing with the potential to be great. We are of course banking on potential but I like the bravery he shows on the ball and he clearly can defend despite a weak 6 months last year. His head must have been all over the show as we clearly tapped him up a while back!
