Gazzetta dello Sport reporting we ready to make a 60mil euro bid? So many false rumours on this one...guess we'll just have to wait and see....

Seem to be quoting Gazzetta dello Sport and they saying City called Juve yesterday to get the deal done?... anyone else confirming this?

Juve: Bonucci out, Pjaca in

Leonardo Bonucci looks likely to move out to Manchester City at the same time as Dinamo Zagreb's Marko Pjaca is almost ready for Juventus.

The defender is one of the staples of the famous BBC back-line, and Euro 2016 did nothing but magnetise the attention of other clubs around him.

After an initial assault by Chelsea, it's Manchester City's turn to make a very serious move for the player. Their offer amounts to a €60m transfer, along with a five-year contract worth €8m per season for the player.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Old Lady was bombarded with calls by the Citizens yesterday as they pressed to close the deal. They may be on the verge of making it, especially as there are rumours that Bonucci agreed to a move.

The Rosea reports that the player, currently on holiday in the island of Formentera, organised a small goodbye drinks, signalling his decision to depart.

The Bianconeri have already signed Medhi Benatia, who will presumably replace the Italian to form a new back-line with the same 'BBC' acronym.

At the same time as Bonucci seems increasingly likely to leave, it appears the deal is almost complete for the signing of Pjaca. The Croatian has been offered a five-year contract at €2m per season, while his club will be paid approximately €22m plus another €2m in bonuses.

Reports that the deal is complete are expected as early as today, with the transfer being made official on Thursday.

Is it legal to bombard an Old Lady with calls?

I've got an image of Txiki with a Bluetooth headset on speed dialling Juve and leaving messages for them to call him back. Then ringing to say he thought he had a missed call whilst leaving the message, so was just wondering if it was them. Maybe he could send them a fax as well

Such an interesting transfer rumour, this. Nobody gave it a shout and many still don't, yet it's still around.

I don't know what to think, but this is for certain: Bonucci would be the most significant acquisition of the summer, regardless of whether the rags get Pogba or not. He's that good.

How reliable are gazeta for juvenile rumours?

Middle of the road. Sky Italia is usually spot on and Tuttosport is on par with the Sun.

Gazetta tend to overplay their hand on rumours, but they don't just make stuff up or rebrand anonymous forum comments as news like Tuttosport does.

Bonucci transfer almost over the line €60m fee and player gets £6.75m pa.

Juve appear to be cashing in and probably will do the same if United come forward with €125m for Pogba and a rumoured €10m pa to the player

Expect announcements on both in the next 24 hrs from all three parties involved.

Gut instinct or inside knowledge ?

I would bet my house that they wouldn't announce both in the next 24 hours. A deal like Pogba wouldn't get complete without most of journalists reporting it.
