Full Backs?

Angelino and Maffeo aren't ready at all. They're very good prospects being vastly overhyped by all the clappers just like they did with Denayer. Whether they'll make it at our level is anybody's guess.

What CL semi finalist clubs have full backs like Angelino and Maffeo? Fucking none. To get to those final rounds you need a whole lot more that Angelino and Maffeo can CURRENTLY offer. I'm all for giving them a fair crack of the whip. Let's hope they progress but to say they are ready for us now is bollocks.
The fuck do they have to do to be ready then?

Thanks for that expert analysis, was invaluable.... I suggest you read between the lines and see what people are suggesting. Their time is now, not because we owe it to the lads but because that glimmer deserves a chance to shine... Let's see what pep thinks, aye? See if he thinks they warrant a place.... Or are we to take you ' vince Lombardi/rinus Michels as the second coming and just plod along??

I think we've been warped into buying mode constantly and feel youngsters will never step up to the plate, only Iheanacho and Boyata have been given a fair crack at the whip off the top of my head since the takeover. One took it but Boyata wouldnt get into the youth system these days, it's much improved.

Maffeo and Angelino have everything you want in a football player, desire and technical ability, the rest can be sculpted and learned. There's no reason why these 2 can't begin their intrigation this season and become regulars by next season.

Fuck loaning them out. Bellerin didn't need to be loaned out. Denayer has been loaned out playing European football and we're still unsure if he's ready
Bellerin was loaned out to Watford for a year. If it wasn't for injuries to Debuchy, Chambers and Monreal he would have not been in the first team so soon.

Just hope to fuck we manage to bin Kolarov, stealing a living.
Peps been quite complimentary about his fitness, wouldnt be as surprised as I would've been a few weeks ago if he stays.
The ones I expect to go are Mangala, Fernando,Bony, then 2 from Navas, Nasri, Kolarov.

The one thing I will say for Kolarov is that if he is played as a LWB he should be more effective than he is as a regular LB. But we need to find a way to get rid of him at some point. He's not even out of contract after this season!

I would like to throw a name in for LB/LWB. Jeffery Schlupp. He is a beast and probably cheap, looking to get away from Leicester as all there stars are leaving

I think given the number of CB we could have come the start of the season I think we could be playing 3 at the back. But we will need full backs for some games. I also think we need to create space and Zab and Kolarove are our weakest players So my thought is sell Zab and Kolarove however two FB might not be enough so are there any two footed FB who can play both sides. Id love to try Mafeo and Angelino but I do not think we can really judge them unless they have games in a championship or premiership side and games are really important that that age

Andrew Robertson has been a great signing for me on Fifa. Right nationality and age no idea how good he actually is

Assumed we'd be a shoe in for buying new fullbacks, particularly a left back, but looking rather grim on those fronts now.

I'd be happy enough with Sagna & Clichy still starting at fullback, good enough to do the job still. My main concern now is the need to offload a couple (Zaba :(, and Kolarov) - I'd much rather give Maffeo & Angelino a chance as back ups than the two oldies who've struggled for some time.

Seemingly has been a sticking point throughout this window is offloading our players rather than bringing players in.

Honestly why are we surprised when one of the best long passers in the team, that's fairly strong and (mostly) positionally aware is playing CB under Pep?

Kolarov gets a rough deal from our fans.
Wow you honestly think that?
Clearly I'm wrong as I think he's the worst player with the worst attitude for 3 seasons now, but somehow he keeps surviving.
