James Milner

In fairness he worked hard for the first one, earned the 2nd and the 3rd doesnt apply to him as he actually went out and earn it
I think you may have missed my point completely...

He worked hard for greed? That's almost the very definition of entitlement. You understand the difference between the words "want" and "need" don't you? Greed is greed, no matter how hard you work.

From my perspective your post makes little to no sense

No point in me trying to explain then is there

Money is the most important thing in the world. If I had the power to go to another company get a raise and millions to sign on I would do it.
So would I and I'd push mates out of the way and lie to my employers to get it too.

He lied about wanting to extend his contract. He lied about wanting to play central midfield (when it was the pay rise that enticed him).

That's all absolutely fine. What isn't fine is that it all gets swept under the rug to protect his "Good little scouse ****" image.

Oh and he doesn't drink. I don't trust people that don't drink.
Doesn't drink ?
Why didn't some tell me that before I posted all this crap
Sorry everyone disregard my posts

The fact is milner was a utility player, a bloody good one BTW who did the job all over the pitch when we were stretched by injuries in his last season here. Sadly, his refusal to see this as his role and accept he would not be long the first on the team sheet if everyone was fit led to the slightly acrimonious departure. Sad. I wish it had worked out differently tbh.

Sad indeed. I was only thinking today about the millionaire James Milner and how he could have improved our bench. Ah well, it was not to be. So fuck him.

Be honest, were there not times last season that milner (at his best) would have been useful?

I'll hold my hands up mate, he would have been. Some of the City tv stuff was crying out for his dry wit and self effacing humour.
