:)That's a good point. Burn him.

You missed an R mate.Very petty.
Haha. Made me laugh.Mate if you think Hart couldn't match Bravo's passing stats knocking it to the centre halves 5 yards away you need to give your head a wobble.
Oh shit you were being serious.Bravo is going to get closed down in this league. He's going to need a serious bedding in period with set pieces as well. This is a really unnecessary transfer.
Assuming that Hart is a great influence in the dressing room (hmmm), you do realise that Bravo has captained his country for a good few years and is a born leader?I'm sure that Harts footballing ability can be replaced. But what about his personality? What about his leadership qualities? What about actually giving a fuck to clap the fans at the end?
I don't care if we're playing the best football and winning every possible trophy, if there aren't players who in some way or represent the fans on the pitch then it's just not the same for me anymore. With Kompany injured frequently and Zabaleta's slight decline in form I'm worried we're losing a lot of our identity.
Maybe the new signings can fill the void of these three players. I'm willing to wait and see but last season it wasn't our dreadful league performance that pissed me off the most. It was the way management and players had no respect for the fans. That better not be the case this season, regardless of how we perform.
To be fair there's only one very vocal poster doing that.So have we gone from being excited about having the most innovative and succesful coaches in world football to "he doesn't know what he's doing regarding the goalkeeper" in a few weeks? His results show we should trust his judgement
Oh shit you were being serious.
How the fuck are you not employed by the club instead of Pep? Or at least with him to tell him he's wrong?
I dont think so atmosphere is hard to define but can be recognised and having a player capable of lifting the crowds which in turn lifts the players can be psychologically important in football. The 'rapport' with fans is mostly a figment of our imaginations really.
Sadly, there's more than a few at the ground with this view. On Saturday I heard more than one comment about how underwhelming it all was and there was no need to drop Hart. In fact, that proved Guardiola was somewhat overrated! To be fair there's only one very vocal poster doing that.
I'd say the manager certainly knows best on whether this is an unnecessary transfer and the need for a ball playing goal keeper being at the heart of the game plan yes, 100%.Ah, the old "the manager always knows best" shtick. Always an infallible argument........
Pep has come out and said...
Great post and you are right.Sadly, there's more than a few at the ground with this view. On Saturday I heard more than one comment about how underwhelming it all was and there was no need to drop Hart. In fact, that proved Guardiola was somewhat overrated!
The problem with football, a bit like life in general I suppose, that it polarises opinion far more than it should. If you like Hart, Cabellero is shit. If you liked Manuel, Mancini was toxic. The truth is that change is something many people struggle with. You only have to look at Kolorov to see that. So many fans seem to be so obsessed with how he has done in the past, they seem unwilling (or unable) to judge his performance on Saturday with any objectivity, whatsoever. For what it's worth, I couldn't wait to see the back of him but was pleasantly surprised by his performance. Now I know one swallow does not a summer make, but if he can improve Kolorovs game that much in one preseason, how can anyone not be hugely excited for this great clubs future prospects? Bring it on......
I'm paraphrasing but he actually said Nasri was too fat and Yaya is not fit. He's also said Nasri and Yaya are training very well and are superb professionals.
Quite. He also didn't say any of them were a joy to have in the dressing room, or the kind of players he needs. He's also said Nasri and Yaya are training very well and are superb professionals.
