I think there was more to that yesterday, his eyes started rolling and he looked like he was struggling? I know it was quite humid yesterday so the only thing I can think of is dehydration, but I'm sure the players are kept well hydrated in such conditions?
When he grabbed his calf he didn't look that uncomfortable to say his calf caused him a great amount of pain.

Has to be a knee injury. The ball hit him right on the side of his kneecap while his leg was in the air. Soon as he put the leg down he grimaced and pulled up. I'm saying intense pain made him woozy.

His movement and link up play was excellent just a pity no-one else could find a pass to him or perform to his level, if he played in the 'normal' line up would be a major threat, hope its nothing serious.

Did get some Foe/Puerta flashbacks after seeing the defender reaction, great to hear everything is well
God no,MVF's looked far more serious at the time, I knew he was in major trouble, thought at most Nacho was going into shock and having problems breathing.

Something certainly not right with what happened last night, I genuinely thought for a split second he could have been in the same situation as Fabrice Muamba was I was shitting it.

You don't have that reaction and leave on a stretcher for a case of cramp... Hope it's alright though.

Class act from the Steaua player, acted fast and quick well done son.

If Kelechi says he is OK there is no reason to doubt that.
Although his body language was telling me hamstring or calf muscle injury. I hope not.

Some minutes before that happened I was concerned about his pressing runs during the match. A bit too much over a whole season. Pep already told Sergio he wants to see more intensity without the ball. But that's a dangerous game if you don't find the right balance!

Intense pressing only goes well including all the players, otherwise the forwards will give their lives on the pitch.
The risk then will be long balls over your heads and then again the sweeper keeper comes into play...

Has there been any updates since lunchtime today ?

If you want to believe twitter rumours(I know!;) he had a scan this afternoon that showed no long term issue! Think its best to wait to hear from Pep for official word but fingers crossed its not as bad as it looked last night!

Thanks, at least everything looks a lot more positive than when he left the pitch yesterday evening.

What a shame he pulled up like that.

Was looking really good out there. Well, at least what I seen.

Always surprised when footballers have that type of injury. I mean, they are fit, stretched, and warm. Looks like the type of injury you get from beer league footy.

Kelechi's father James has confirmed that his son's injury is NOT serious. He will only spend 2 weeks on the sidelines. [All Nigeria Soccer]
James Iheanacho: "Kelechi is fine, he said that it is a minor injury. The club have told him to rest his injury for the next 2 weeks."

Is that before or after the City medical team have gotten hold of him? One of our Dr Nicks might saw off a limb yet
