Really tough departure this one, really emotional. Definitely in the same bracket as Zabba, Vinnie, Kun and Silva in my book.

Neither will I forget your save against Everton (Steven Naismith) that probably was one of many crucial moments that won us the gold 2014.

When darkness falls, the lights go out and the sun sets all over the world. Wherever you are Joe, just as night follows day, you will have a Blue Moon rising and City fans all over, watching over you, for you my boy have helped us to rise up to great heights, to put to bed so many dark days, banished that awful counter from OT, helped us to bring the glory days back and at all times you have seemed to be like us, wanting the best for City, our City, your City. Spread your wings Joe and all the very best of luck. As you rightly said, once a blue, always a blue.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to address all the amazing Manchester City fans who have been so good to me. It's been a difficult few weeks but that will never cloud the amazing journey and experience your great club has given to me. From the moment I signed in 2006, the club and its fans have given me football and life experiences I could never have imagined and I am so thankful for that. Football is a crazy game and, due to circumstances, I am now moving on to another chapter of my career and I am very grateful that Torino has given me this opportunity to play for their great club .
But the feelings I felt during the recent Steaua Bucharest game will live with me forever. You can't buy that and I will struggle to replicate them. So thank you for that and all the amazing memories

a very classy man.hes been great for us over the years and I understand why pep has done it but I still feel very sad about it.really hope it goes well for him.
 
Deep down I think this is the right decision but it a hard one to take. Joe is one of us, he understands the fans better than any other player and better than most of the non-playing staff. I remember when Sven had to make that decision on Kasper or Hart, unsure myself what the answer was. Now with the benefit of hindsight we can all agree he made the right call and what a career he had with us subsequently (Kasper did alright for himself in the end too!) My City goalkeeping memories go back to Corrigan who was a big hero to me as a star-struck 9 year old and there have been other great keepers since but Joe tops the list for me. I know he has his faults but when you take into account the journey and the trophies Joe Hart will be remembered as a city legend, and that is something that we do not bestow on a player very often.

Very cool from Joe that, he is still young and he will have a place back here in the future i am sure.

I hope all those who said he was a trouble making mercenary read that and feel rightful guilt about there comments.
