This will be tough. This is their cup final and they will tackle anything that moves and look to go long for the pace of griffiths. Think we'll snatch it in the last 15 or so but we cant concede first.

Not so sure Roberts will play.
He was there player of the season last year but when Brenda brought in Sinclair not had as many chances and when played has played poor.
Sinclair has been fantastic for them.
Celtic are by far the best team in Scotland and I wouldn't take the Barca game as form. Barca can do that to anyone on their day.
The atmosphere at Parkhead will be the most passionate any City player or Fan will have ever experienced. We need a couple of early goals and to keep the ball and they will lose heart.
The longer we go on unbeaten the more I realize a defeat is only round the corner and my guess is it will be against a team we think will be a canter.
I really hope its not this game. Anyway I will be there cheering the blues on, cant wait.
Hopfully take over the City during the day and maybe out sing them for the last 20 mins.

Defeat will not come against these, personally I think we'll put at least 5 past them unless we waste very good opportunities. Scottish league is very poor hence why Patrick Roberts looks excellent there.

This would be my team against Celtic;

Bravo
Zab stones Otamendi clichy
Fernando
Silva Gundogan
Sane Aguero Nolito

Rest KDB Kolarov Sterling Sagna and Fernandinho.

After 45 mins all being well I'd bring on Kolarov for stones, Garcia for Gundogan and nacho for Aguero. Need our best players fit for Spurs.

I wouldn't bring on Garcia, getting docked points for fielding an ineligible player would put us at a serious disadvantage going into the double header against Barca.

Haha oh shit! Are under 21s not eligible???
Uefa rules are that they have to be at the club for 2 straight years to go on the B list (under21s) and we didn't have a spot in the A list for him, although hopefully he'll take Delph's after Christmas. Next season he'll be eligible for the B list and the year after he'll qualify for one of the 4 club trained spots under the 3 full seasons rule. (Either 36 months or 3 full seasons between 16 and 21, he'll be here 35 months when he turns 21 but will have 3 full seasons).

Thanks mate. interesting.

Unfortunately, due to the new breed of fan we have already attracted and continue to attract coupled with those that have been here longer but have short memories, the over confidence will continue. Eventually we will end up with camera crews seeking out Richard Edghill twice a year to predict how many we will stuff United by at each Derby. It depends whether you have the energy to try to educate and keep grounded. I'll never stop supporting City, but you have to accept this element will drag you down somewhat.
Indeed. I also know I shouldn't let it bother me but.......

1-0 and no injuries will do,i think they will kick the shit out of dave though

He can't take Delph's place as far as I can see because Delph is one of the four English qualified players and Garcia will not be.

Bollocks. Still thought we had a homegrown keeper :) There's flexibility there anyway, we could replace Delph and Caballero with Garcia and Gunn.

Gunn is in anyway as a B squad member, I suspect Pep will want to have an experienced back up keeper in case of injury.

Maybe. Gunn looks the strongest option of the two for the way we play though, Caballero looks like he's bricking it every time he's asked to play a pass. We need two keepers in the A list so Gunn could go in as CT/AT freeing Caballero's spot.

If Bravo got injured/suspended though we would have no back up for Gunn on the bench ? Grimshaw, can't see it happening myself.
