Totally agree mate sunday is a far more important game in my opinion?Would probably take a draw and no injuries now if you guaranteed me 3 points at Spurs Sunday
Pep: @DeBruyneKev is not a big injury. In 2 and a half/3 weeks maybe he will be ready. #mcfc
Angus Gunn is out for 7 to 10 days.
Club captain Vincent Kompany could also return in 2-3 weeks, Pep says.
I bet you weren't at York away though
theyve lost a few more than 3, but i agree with your sentiment, this will be tough, might only be the odd goal in it.Celtic have only lost about 3 champions league games out of the last 30 at home, this will be a much tougher game than people think.
They've actually got a 48% win percentage in the CL which sounds good but when you consider that their last 6 home games for instance (all wins) were against Stjarnan, Qarabağ, Malmö, Lincoln, Astana and the mighty H. Beer-Sheva then it's not that impressive really.theyve lost a few more than 3, but i agree with your sentiment, this will be tough, might only be the odd goal in it.
Also, a lot of Celtic's wins have come in qualifiers which slightly biases their record but still, wins against Ajax and Barca in the last 4 or 5 seasons is nothing to scoff at
This is the CL where you get booked for giving someone a nasty look, they're not that daft.Call it an irrational Braveheart fear, but I think this is going to be a tough game. They are going to go in boots and all. We need to keep our composure, retain the ball and wear them out. Hopefully if we do that then we can finish them off in the second half.
Celtic to win and both teams to score is still 14/1 at Bet365.
£10 on for £150 return.
Those are crazy crazy odds and for anyone thinking it's going to be a close game, take a punt and put a tenner on.
Although this defies logic considering Manchester City are on fire just now, Celtic in the past usually do well in front of their home crowd.
1) Celtic will be looking to save face from the thumping Barcelona give them 2wks ago.
2) Celtic will be playing with the '12th man' in regards to their intimidating atmosphere.
3) Celtic are realistically battling the Germans for that 3rd place Europa spot and need the points.
4) Celtic have a respectable home record and the very best in football say it's a tough stadium to visit.
5) KDB is out.
City of course are strong favourites but at 14/1 considering the above 5 points, it's worth at least a tenner.
Can't wait for tonight now.
