I think this is one area where i have to own up and say he has a big plus here. I hope he is vocal and shines a light on a lot of the people and companies whose behind the scenes goings on are less than savoury in their dealings i.e. Goldman Sachs getting told to fuck off and all his back room staff who used to work for them that they dance to his tune or fuck off to. Or like you say a bank trying to dictate policy and such.

If he gets stuck in like that then his ratings will go through the roof, Americans in general i think are desperate for these shady layers of government to be peeled away.

I have to laugh at people thinking Trump is not influenced by anyone and will get rid of all corruption. Not a single billionaire has earned their money without doing something dodgy. He will have his own agenda and that starts with giving his rich mates nice fat tax cuts.

Global capitalism won't go away, so I expect Trump's victory is going to usher in an era of protectionism.

The neo-cons will be all over him like a rash offering their services. I find that more worrrying than Trump trying to "wing it" on his own.

I doubt he will clean it all up but he may shake it around a bit which may force change from how it is currently. Clinton would never have done that as she is part of it.

I would vote for him, if i was american...and he was up for election. I wonder if they did just put someone like him in if his appeal would overcome all the glitter and parades. I mean he would do a better job after looking at stuff for 30min than either Clinton and Trump, in fact my old head teacher would tbh.

Stop and send back Illegal immigrants, the clue is in the illegal bit, they have no rights to be there and are jumping the Que.

Secure the border, how else can you control who or what comes into your country.

Tell so called American companies (who moved jobs to take advantage of cheap labour costs) if they make their product in Mexico or China they will be taxed as forign companies.

Run a full screening on Muslims before they are allowed in the country, given the perchance Muslims have for terrorist activity at the moment its no more that the governments duty to protect and defend its citizens.

Pity we didn`t have him over here, go Donald.

Easy there mate, this is a touchy subject for us. I'm as depressed as the next liberal, but we don't need any Presidents shot ever again. Period. :(

Cars used to be built in flint, Michigan whose people had jobs and money and pride , they also had clean drinkable water.

A few years ago the car factory was shut and moved to Mexico to a town that never had drinking water. Now that town in Mexico has jobs, pride and money and they now have drinkable water.

Meanwhile in flint they do not have drinkable water to pump to the people anymore, never mind jobs.

But apparently it helps if working out why General Motors won't be bringing jobs back to Flint, or mines reopening in Pennsylvania - unless Trump does the Hitler thing and goes into massive debt then invades other countries and plunders them (and uses forced labour).
 
The experts predicted we would have snow and clinton and what we got was wet and trump.

Nothing good has ever come from a wet trump.
 
What's the statistical chances of a rich 70 year old having a fatal heart attack (in the next 10 weeks)?
