Thick as fuck is of course way over the top but at some point mate you have to question his footballing brain.

World class defenders are very few and far between so im not going to hang him out to dry because he isnt Baresi but his lack of positional sense and pace means he is just not good enough imo.

Can't say Ota is a favourite of mine but he's ok. I know as city fans we know best....but apparently Boateng wasn't good enough for us before he became a fixture at Munich. Apparently Savic was garbage before he went on to play in the champs league final for someone else. We don't have a clue, over reaction all over the place and in the meantime we let players go who go on and do decent stuff.

What we needed yesterday was someone physical and quick. I wonder how Mangala is getting on, although many will no doubt say he's not good enough for us either

Boateng was garbage for us but is a brilliant player.

Savic was garbage for us and is garbage for Atléti and was the worst player on the pitch in the CL final.

Sorry he made four mistakes for the Costa goal. He also was at fault for the second..... seems headless, I thought he had improved on last season but I was wrong. He needs to up levels and maintain them or it`s the door.

There are times he looks a world beater and then he does something really stupid. For some reason he keeps thinking diving in is the way to go. Yesterday I thought he was doing OK then he goes and fucks up for the first and does his usual diving in for the second. He does things like that too often to be a regular in a team that wants to do what we want to do.

Three at the back doesn't make you sprint needlessly up the pitch 40 yards, it doesn't make you drop to the floor when you feel any contact, it doesn't cause you to lose your runner and it doesn't force you to start marking an already marked player at the expense of leaving acres of space behind you.

That being said, three at the back isn't going to work consistently as long as someone like Otamendi is NOT the worst defender in that line.

I think he'd excel if we played the under 8's every week. Definitely wouldn't be the weakest player on the pitch then. Just one of the weakest.
