Oh fuck me. That post match interview was almost as bad as the performance on the pitch. He said all the wrong things, he does not get it. He is saying its not to do with him changing the system and formation all the time and doesnt think we have bad defenders. Its gone to shit, he has not grasped this league at all
Unfortunately he will not slag off his players in public and the players will not slag of his tactics in public. Do u see where Im coming from and where I think this could be going?

I'll choose to look at penalties not given as penalties we probably would have missed anyway as we don't practice them in training.

Just like we seemingly don't practice defending. Or goalkeeping.

I admire your faith in the situation but we are almost at xmas. He knows what the PL is about by now, he should know how to set up his team. Im not expecting a win every game but I am expecting a damn sight better then whats City are offering at the moment. No way we should "hoping " to win a home game :(
Mourinho knows the league a lot better, but it's still 9 points behind.

That was a complete shambles, pep must now have realised we can't play out through the goalkeeper all the time and we NEED some new DEFENDERS in January.

I was hoping we would have improved on last year by now but we are just as bad if not even more vulnerable at the back
I can honestly say the only difference I see is we have massively weakend the team in our goal keeper
I keep hearing how much of a perfectionist pep is and how he studies like a mad man on all aspects so I was hoping he would have watched City before he came and could see Kolarov is an absolutely awful defender but he clearly didn't and is still playing him
Also he might have watched our game v Leicester last season and set up accordingly

Dreadful on many levels.

1. Horrible defending when it really mattered.
2. Missed plenty of good chances.
3. Had a solid 5 penalty claims, if even 2 of those had been given...
4. Tactics, given the personnel, were fine but the players let themselves down off the gun.

Just a horrible day all round.

Starting Kolarov, Zabaleta, Sagna, Navas and Silva - why hasn't Pep watched any of our games from last season?

An absolutely shocking team selection.

Silva and Navas on the wings with Sterling, Nolito and Sane on the bench is terrible management, no doubt about it.

It's strange that Guardiola watched our games from last season and deemed all four full backs good enough. Mistake.

Pep really didn't look like he wanted to be there at the interview.

Looked uncomfortable under basic questioning of his tactics.

I've no idea why he starts Navas ahead of Nolito.

Well that was terrible. Can't remember seeing us defend so badly. I was really frustrated with Bravo's stutter run-out for the 3rd; Kolarov left a bit to be desired on the 1st; Stones - and maybe Sagna - on the last and no one got close enough on the 2nd. Attacking we really struggled, crosses or cut-backs came to little and there was no space in the middle. Only joy was a late Kolarov beauty and Nolito goal. All I can say is there's a long way to go yet.

We need a top class keeper and a complete new back four.
Pep needs to stop fucking around and stop changing players constantly.
Why the fuck did he take Nacho off when we need to score...cant understand what he's trying to do.
Shite performance and shite tactics

That didn't make any sense. The struggle was creating anything. The midfield offered Iheanacho next to nothing. Guardiola needs to get back to the basics - 4-3-3 or 4-5-1.
