Liverpool - post match thread.

Really so you expected us to have almost double the number of shots they did?

Come off it, at no point did we look like scoring. We had one creditworthy effort when Silva curled one just wide and that was pretty much it. Had it not been for an absolutely idiotic offside and a dreadful first touch from Firmino we could have easily been 3 down at the break against a team that played as badly as I have seen them in the last 2 years

Yes, we've all heard the public comments that this is a long term plan and I also point out to people that I believe SM is here for a long time. But a part of me thinks there's a small possibility that he may move on to other projects.

Why would he move on to other projects? What projects? Do you think he needs the money from selling City to undertake these projects? Do you think he needs his time freeing up from watching City's games so he can do other projects or watch Liverpool?

Given the staggering amount of money spent over the past few years, it's so depressing to see Navas as the first person we turn to on the bench to try and get us back into the game. I'd rather have Sancho on the bench, at least he might offer us something slightly different.

All I would say is don't take SM for granted.

Jeez Harry, give it a rest, beginning to think my first thought's were correct, time to put your Giggsy duvet in the wash before it goes hard

Poor judgement as a result of your rank stupidity.

I've tried to be (relatively) conciliatory. If you're going to carry on being a prize fucking cock, I'll leave you to it. You've had about half a dozen respected posters (and I'm not referring to me) point out the stupidity of your initial post now, and you're still blustering away. You remind me of Captain Rum.

You ain't addressing the point I was making. However, coulda, shoulda, woulda. If the quality of Silva's strike had been better, or Kolarov's volley, or Sterling's cut back or... We didn't much look like scoring but Liverpool still allowed more shots than normal and made 12 less their average; of course when they pack their defence and play on the break, they are liable to get better looking chances but if they fuck up; however, both teams made attacking fuck-ups.
