When some journalists decided it was unacceptable.
It's a fucking joke in here at times I tell you.

I read this morning our recent form was 'erratic' and couldn't believe my eyes. Won four in five and the loss was away at 2nd in the table having conceded on shot on goal in the game.

****s.

Too many people buy into what they either have heard, is being said by others or being reported in the press. IMO we are doing well at present, with the 2 above teams that we can catch still

Feghouli's red card has been overturned ... surprise surprise, so available for Friday. So that corrupt spunkwipe Mike Dean should be dragged over the coals by the end of his micro penis and made to explain his self. "Just doing as instructed m'lud - help those red boys out .. nudge nudge. wink wink "

Presumably Jones has been retrospectively charged with simulating injury.

I can't believe anyone is contemplating resting players for this. We've got 9 days rest after the game, we're in good(ish) form as well. Probably not going to win the league, slimmer chance of winning the UCL. Anyone who says finishing 4th is more important than winning the cup give your head a wobble. Football is about winning trophies, not being part of them.

Agree about not resting players but in terms of where we want to be and who we probably want to buy (and cash flow), 4th is a huge priority.

Ask any united fans, winning the FA Cup certainly didn't make up for missing top four last year.

We should be able to do both quite comfortably though.

I don't agree with that fully. I know United always seem to hark on about their history, same with Liverpool. They've built that on winning trophy after trophy. Liverpool still sign players based on that now. I think we add more to our prestige by adding trophies to our cabinet as opposed to playing in the UCL. It didn't stop United signing Pogba, Zlatan, Mourinho etc.

The reason it would be more important for the club to finish in the top 4 is all down to money. It doesn't filter down to myself so I'm not overly bothered if we miss out on it! (I do understand that there is a bigger picture though).

Depends who we want to sign and what our budget may be without CL for next season.

As I say, we should be able to prioritise both.

No need to rest anyone after 4 days rest since the Burnley game, and 9 days before the next one - plus, we need our best players to play themselves into top form. This applies particularly to Kun (out for a 4 games recently) and Stirling (falling over too much!) who need as much work on the ball in matches in order to stay at top form. So, rest none unless injured. If we get through, we may get an easier home game in the next round when we can rest some, if necessary.
(I know there's no chance of us getting an easy draw, but I can dream.)

They don't need two weeks fucking rest do they.

4th game in 11 days for a few players. Doesnt that significantly increase their injury risk? Apart from which they're unlikely to be anything like their best for this game. I think De Bruyne, Sterling, Yaya, Otamendi & Kolarov need to give this game a miss.

Realistically only chance of silverware this season so full strength please after the farce of Chelsea last season.

We should win this game, using the squad, West Ham are shit!

Regarding are 'form'. Last time I checked we were 3rd in the league, last 16 of the CL and have won 4 out of the last 5. We've only lost 1 game that was a shock and that was to the champions, Leicester. Spurs and Liverpool away are tricky for anyone and a game V Chelsea can always go either way

People need to relax. Yes, there are some issues with our squad but I imagine management are aware of them(if they ween't before) but eh season on the whole is, potentially, shaping up quite nicely. We should beat these, beat Monaco and if we do the business away at Everton and home t Spurs then we could have a great last few months

PS
Anyone writing us off, should look at our last 6 games. I expect 6 wins, can't say that for the resst
