It's looking like we will struggle. We've yet to add players to our squad but there is still some time. The main problem with Everton is that we have a chairman unwilling to sell and he's skint. But we have one of the best managers in the world and if he can hold onto his squad there is nothing...

Hahahahaha. I agree with you mate, I don't think you have paid anywhere near 18m for him, as you said it's just the touted price. I could call you some names if you want though.

Moyes would walk and I'd support him. I wouldn't put it past Everton. We wold Duncan Ferguson to Newcastle behind Walter Smith's back.

How do you work out we're not rivals for a European spot when we have the same squad we had last season when we finished 5th? Arteta, Jagielka, Howard, Baines, Yakubu, Fellaini, Pienaar...

Then the fans you know are idiots. Yak has never shown himself to be consistently injured so why he wouldn't come back fit I don't know. Jags will be back 2 months before ACN so we will have cover. You still bought him. That's my point.

You still bought him, that's my main argument. Regardless of price. Although Wikipedia does say 18m and everyone knows Wikipedia is never wrong.

I'm sure I'll never see the day Everton can waste 18m on a player but I don't think I'd want to see it either. Oh and keep this on the low down but he's actually quite good. Dark horse this season. He'll score a lot.

How do you punch above your weight for numerous seasons? That doesn't make sense. I can see you using that term for Hull in the first 6 months but if a team regulatory gets European football, gets to an FA Cup Final and breaks the top 4 how are they punching above their weight? 2 seasons ago...

We're skint. It's how we have to do business. Clauses help up get players for smaller fees. We don't have all the money in the world you see. So we have to be intelligent with what we do.

Past few seasons we've recorded record turnover. That's helping but we struggle to get Moyes funds for the summer. It hardly means we have to start selling all our best players.

On the basis of what? A small squad? Had one ever since Moyes took over. A player wanting out? After the Rooney saga we broke the top 4. Evertonians want to add quality to the squad but why does that mean we have to let our best players go too? Is that some sort of unwritten law?

Oh good then mate. I'll let Moyes know. We will sell him immediately.

So we should be angry at Moyes because the board have given him no money to spend? That makes sense... 10% of the transfer goes to Wolves. We have 80m debts that need to be shifted. Moyes isn't guaranteed the money and he knows it.

Obvious troll is obvious. But still I'll reply. Why should Everton sell one of their best players to a new rival for European spots? Just because you want him and you have a tonne of money? 'its a complement that a Club like us' - A club like who? What have you done and who are you? Everton...

    Jo

Great debut by Jo. If you take into account he is not match fit, not as sharp as he can be and was playing in a totally new system and with different players he had a great game. You can see that there is a really good player there. It just needs coaxing out. Considering he spent the whole game...
