You could always work in a factory carlos (MERGED)

Re: You could always work in a factory carlos i love what Carlos does on the pitch for us, but he's a right mardy arsehole after reading that interview with Marwood in the week i don't think he's the sort of player we'd by buying nowadays, with their dossiers on the mental and emotional state...

    the moaners

30 quid for the ticket, 20 quid in the bookies. Do they do refunds?

    the moaners

just spunked 50 quid and an evening of my life on that. With a season ticket you get your money's worth, but tonight i was left feeling severely short changed

    Adebayor [Merged]

we looked far less dangerous when he went off the pitch imo. He's a bit pants, and was especially pants today, but at least he gives the opposition defence something different to think about unless Balotelli comes good i think the decision to not buy a top class box striker might be the one...

Lack of urgency in the final 5 minutes

probably difficult to keep up the intensity when most of the crowd is streaming for the exits well done traffic beaters

    Bloody Journo's....

talking of journos, the write up on football365 had me absolutely seething. Even when we're in the "Winners" section they can't give us any credit <a class="postlink" href="http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8742_6386749,00.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return...

    Berbaflop (Merged)

Re: Berbatov better than Rooney imho the fact that he's been a hate figure for mongy Utd fans since he joined shows how much they know that second goal today.. sublime

    David Silva

that Barry goal against Liverpool was the same, 25 passes and a great final piece of play to put it in the net. If it was Arsenal everyone would be wanking themselves dry over it (like that Vela goal last week), but City? No chance

    Ireland had another shocker...

i watched the game today with a Villa fan, and he was calling for Reo Coker for the entire game. Says it all about Stevie, capable of some nice creative play but a passenger when it comes to taking control of the midfield. The guy is the definition of a luxury player, a wafty ponce who slows...

    Gareth Barry

the difference is that last season he was expected to be the creative player alongside Nige, now he can take his rightful position as a very important cog in the midfield possession machine without having that pressure on him

David Silva - I had faith

before the match all the papers were talking about his "troubled" start to his City career. Eedjits the guy is pure class, a fantastic dribbler and with a truly fantastic sense of the nature of the game. This fella is what we need in midfield, a schemer. Ideally, i think he should be playing...

totally uninformative stuff. And why no Johnson penalty shout? Looks like the Beeb might be against us as well

    Mark T**tenburg

genuinely the worst reffing performance i can remember seeing.. every decision went their way, all their physicality was unpunished whilst ours was, didn't do a single thing about the 85 minutes of timewasting, didn't card any of their cynical fouling. And then there's the penalty. I think when...

    Are We Light Upfront?

has Dzeko moved anywhere yet this summer? We desperately need someone to sit in the box and terrify the opposition defence with their power and stature, and Adebayor and Jo cannot do this. Tevez needs to be told to stay in the box or given a partner, because at the moment we're playing 4-6-0
  19. D

    Are We Light Upfront?

we have good strikers but they're all of a similiar style. Jo and Adebayor might be tall, but they're wafty "second strikers" rather than target men. Tevez drops too deep and is too small. Apart from possibly Balotelli we don't have a truly box dominating, terrifyingly powerful frontman like Drogba

    Are We Light Upfront?

we have BIG problems there imo. Adebayor and Jo are too weak to stand up to powerful PL defences and i've got a strong feeling that Tevez won't be able to replicate his form of last season, or even get close. He was the worst player on the pitch for us today, ponderous and ineffective. How much...
