    Media thread 2022/23

Unless it's Dunnie, it's mute for me on RTE and Virgin Media.. same for Newstalk (unless Nedum is on). They know their audience : 90% Reds wanting City to lose. Used to love Whelan as a kid, when playing for Ireland, but he's immediately muted now. Hates us with a passion.

    Media thread 2022/23

It's hateful. Guy got a loan offer he couldn't turn down, didn't work out. Doesn't deserve to be sneered at by Jonathan Lies.

Thank you Sir. It's a lonely life sometimes, but you wouldn't change a thing! ;-)

Looking for one ticket. Probably no chance but throwing my name in anyway!

    Book suggestions

It's fantastic. They made a great film out of it too, in 2004, and an equally great TV series. The soundtrack for the movie got me into Explosions in the Sky, and that got me into one of my favourite pieces of music - 'Your Hand in Mine'. I'll stop gushing now... you're in for a treat Ric.

UEFA FFP investigation - CAS decision to be announced Monday, 13th July 9.30am BST

Relax mate.. he's not a wum or fishing or anything else. He's a Blue, crapping it over the outcome of this, as are all of us. It's his opinion and a fair point - Pep has definitely made pointed comments about CL next season in the last few weeks, and didn't tonight. That's all. Might be...

    Unlikely City fans

That was hilarious.. Crerand hung up and never went back on the show iirc.. Can't remember what the row was about, was it the day after the 1-6?

He has a nice soft question for Mo Farah there, when he could be asking him about any one of the many recent 'controversies'. Guess the cutting edge journalism applies only to City. What a guy...

    Media coverage 2018/19

I wouldn't bother listening. I'd be amazed if it's not a complete and total one sided hatchet job. 95% of the listeners will be Rags and Liverpool. They'll know the audience. City will be strung up.

A great mailbox in F365 this morning.. I was amazed. Even a great letter from a United fan, Mandisi MUFC. No kidding. Not everyone out there is a hypocritical moron. Take heart. https://www.football365.com/news/why-liverpool-should-be-grateful-to-manchester-city

I imagine it'll be Liverpool by a country mile mate. The TV channels know this too, so - like you say - they'd have Liverpol Vs Ludogorets on TV while we're playing Barca. In fact, I think that may have happened in Ireland. It's all about what they can charge for advertising, rather than the...

Bloody Sunday: Soldier F faces murder charges

For what it's worth mate, you're spot on there but I think you'll find this thread very frustrating. You sound like you have more authority to speak on it than most here. The truth as far as it's possible to know came out with the Saville Report. People should read that, or a summary of it. The...

    Moment(s) of the season

All the football stuff mentioned on here was brilliant but one that really got me laughing / buzzing was playing keep-ball at the swamp at the corner flag for fun, while Young and Co. got more and more pissed off. Beautiful. Then blasting Oasis out in the dressing roll and kicking off a brawl...

    David Silva tweet/possible banner?

Amazing man, carrying a huge weight for most of the season. Gave everything to his family and everything else he had left to City and was always immense. Will never be forgotten Dave. Enjoy your evening with your family. City legend.

Time to hit where it hurts

We had Richard Dunne on TV3 here in Ireland.. was great.. kept talking about 'us' and 'we'. Good lad Dunnie.

Sunderland Vs City Post Match Thread

This brought a smile to my face so I thought I'd post it.. one Sunderland supporter's view from last night in the Football 365 letters page... A Sunderland fan wowed by City Manchester City on Tuesday night were simply stunning. Sergio Aguero is one of the few players i’ve literally applauded...
