Gabriel Jesus | Joins Arsenal for £45m

Ok if you are broadening the terms of reference. But Haaland is the closest like for like replacement for Sergio and Alvarez the nearest striking replacement for Torres, Phil & Grealish imo will play mostly as Am's and Palmer may fill the space left by possible leavers, Jesus, Raheem or Riyadh...

Two to replace Sergio & Torres.

Gabriel Jesus | Joins Arsenal for £45m

I agree with all points there, it will be interesting to see how it pans out. Maybe something outside of City's control will trigger our moves in the market.

Gabriel Jesus | Joins Arsenal for £45m

Taking turns at RB was what happened as Cancelo worked his way towards parity with Walker, so nothing new there. His appearances at left back initially came as a result of availability problems with left backs, his ability there imo much higher than was expected, when Mendy was missing, Cancelo...

Gabriel Jesus | Joins Arsenal for £45m

Walker & Cancelo are the right backs in our squad, Mendy & Zinchenko are the left backs, Mendy's unavailability has meant Cancelo has been used at left back. We need a left back to replace Mendy, to get us back to where we started last season, so that Cancelo is not over played.

Gavin Bazunu | Joins Southampton on a permanent deal

You should watch Bazunu more often, he's pretty extraordinary for his age.

    Gavi

He knows nothing about the kids character yet trots out the same old anti Barca tropes to "predict", baselessly, what the kid might do in four years time. We are all entitled to our opinions on players, surely we could at least base those opinions on some tiny amount of knowledge of the subject...

    #47 | Phil Foden - 2021/22 Performances

Kevin & Phil are attacking players at heart, with that line up Rodri will be burnt out by half time and the defensive solidity we have shown for most of the past two seasons will be greatly diluted. Kevin & Phil will try to help but no where near to the extent Bernie does.

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2021/22 Performances

Not everyone with an outgoing nature has a massive ego. It's no one else's problem if you don't warm to him, no need to smear his character to try to justify your feelings though.

Player Abuse / Plastic Fans (Ederson’s deleted Twitter)

Fair point, but the opposite is also true. Post here that a player had a good game and the boo boy legions hit home with their infantile (sorry kids) happy clappy jibes and ott rambling. There is very limited room here or social media for reasoned and moderate opinions.

Oleksandr Zinchenko | Joins Arsenal for £30m

Neither. We lose/lost Mendy and are left with Walker, Cancelo, Cucurello (if signed) and Zinchenko, back to 4 fullbacks, sell either and we need to buy another top quality left or right back to maintain the squad balance, probably expensive.

Oleksandr Zinchenko | Joins Arsenal for £30m

I don't think he would provide genuine competition for Rodri, he is a much different type of player. He is predominantly left footed and would I think be much more comfortable as an attack minded left midfielder, a position he quite often appears in when Walker is at right back and playing a...

Oleksandr Zinchenko | Joins Arsenal for £30m

Cancelo cannot play 30 + games at RB and 30 + games at LB and neither Cancelo or Cucurella or Walker are going to play much more than 35 games each anywhere, so if Cancelo is sharing RB duties with Walker and LB duties with Cucurella and Zinny is only third choice LB we now need a RB of the...

    11 | Oleksandr Zinchenko - 2021/22 Performances

Fernandinho 5' 10", Zin 5' 9" not much difference there, but Zin does appear to have a slighter lighter frame, although I expect ability will determine if he gets a shot at a midfield role.

You come across as a reasonable & decent person, therefore you will definitely get some some stick, so what, you are lucky to have such broad interests, some of us of a similar mindset would consider you as normal. City, City, Manchester, Cork.
