    Pep Guardiola - 2022/23

If he'd listened to the supporters Sterling and Rodri would have binned after their first seasons under him and we'd still have had Joe Hart in goal and Yaya in midfield.

Will Sterling get a good reception tonight?

Bang on. Fans were clearly miffed about the direction of the club, but took it out on the wrong person. Distin, the most professional player in our squad during his time with us. Really poor.

Dee-Mi-Kay-Liss...that pony tail drives me wild. Good luck lad.

    Etihad Atmosphere - 2022/23

On the 'lap of honour' - 2 observations 1. Pep seemed to get the importance of starting it early. The players arse about shaking hands, cuddling, waving to their boxes, etc. By the time they've done that most of the fans who hadn't swanned off after 85 mins have gone too. He got the players...

    Etihad Atmosphere - 2022/23

I get whst I get what you're saying PC, but tbh I don't think the players are listening to the words in the gane too much...just feeling the noise and support. So I don't care what we sing, as long as we're singing summat (except anything mentioning 'Munich' or 'victims'). And it needs those...

    Etihad Atmosphere - 2022/23

City fans have been poor at chant timing since move to Etihad...."pick your own speed and have a pop"! Like teaching toddlers; claps help. I'm all for them.

    Etihad Atmosphere - 2022/23

Some weird takes from Fulham today. Singing that just after we had chanted. And at least 5 minutes after they had chanted owt themselves. Odd.

    Lowest away following.

I was at that that one. Don't remember much about the game (other than Shuker scoring) or how many we had there, but definitely remembered the weird atmosphere. Strangest I've ever experienced at a football match.

    David Phillips

Scored in my first ever City game (v Boro in '85). So he will always be my first 'favourite player'. I asked my Grandma to sew me a number 6 on the back of my 85-87 home shirt in homage to him too (in those days you'd have had to buy all 14 numbers from a sports shop just to get a 6!).

    New song for Foden

Still think it's really poor we haven't got a proper song for Foden. A lifelong blue tearing it up...and John Stones gets in there ahead of him (no offence to the Barnsley Beckenbauer)! So I'm throwing my hat in the ring before derby day. To the tune of La Bamba (easy and already well known as...

    Next Manager after Pep

I moved my ST up a tier at the end of Pep's first season to escape from 3 or 4 clowns sat next to me. One of the best decisions I've ever made. One woman in particular was horrendous and genuinely stopped me enjoying the games. If we weren't 2-0 after 15 minutes: "You've no f*cking plan B Pep"...

    Thank you Txiki, Omar, Ferran

Always wondered who won that car. Chances are the winner wasn't there in person after that 90th minute fire drill!

    Bernardo Silva

In the evening he wants to be eating tapas in short sleeves by the beach. Not eating drumsticks from a bucket in a duffle coat by the ship canal. Fair play.

    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

Thought he did well after the rejig. No-one tore up trees in the 1st half tbf. More broadly, re: contract. IMO he is almost a guaranteed starter in the big games and would get into every other team in the PL. Therefore he 'deserves' to be paid close to the league's best. He's not done it long...

Fans Not Staying To Applaud The Team

Not saying I like the pic taking/sign holding day trippers. However they aren't the ones that leave first. Many stay to get a final pic/video! The part of the ground which is empty first is the 'hardcore' section in the corner by the away fans (111). Pretty much no-one there at the final...

    Etihad Atmosphere - 2022/23

Find it bizarre that you can't wait 3 minutes to clap the boys off after that 2nd half performance. And these are often the same fans shouting for 'more effort' from the players during the game. It works both ways.

Underrated Players from the 90s onwards.

Horlock and Barry are two of my all-time favourite City players. Underrated by non-blues, but I think most blues understand their value to us so I wouldn't include them here. For 3 blues genuinely underrated by our fan base I'd pick: Flitcroft - good all rounder flogged off in a panic by Ball...

    Worst City players you remember

Yeah. Wasn't their fault, these players were were only playing to their ability levels (mostly). But Beesley and Wassall playing at the back from us stands out for me as the moment it really dawned just how far we'd slipped and that we weren't coming back anytime soon.

    Worst City players you remember

Controversial opinion - I thought Bradbury had turned a bit of a corner just before we sold him and was a little disappointed to see him go!
