Just seems a culture thing nothing against us, just wants a change
 
Yeah big chance he is off next summer, unless he has a huge year and his fee is unattainable. But atleast we have the year to look at replacements. I can see Madrid, PSG and Barca in for him. Madrid will need to reinforce depending on Modric/Kroos.
 
Honestly, if he's home sick or just wants a new challenge, he is more than welcome to leave next season. He'll have (at that time) given 6 brilliant seasons for us on the pitch. Always gave it his all and without moaning when rotated. He had enough empathy to not "force" a move when a late bid arrived. Let's win the big titles this year, Bernardooo!

He didn’t seem desperate by those comments? Maybe also he knew the fee it would take and the PSG one was well under.
 
With the squad overhaul we’ve had this summer it was always going to be unlikely we’d let Bernie go, unless of course we received a bid of silly money, which was never going to happen from Barca.

He will no doubt go next summer with our good wishes, he will be 29 so will be as good a time as any to get top whack for him.
