Are teams bringing less away fans?

From what I've seen the City away sections have been sold out in a flash in the Premier League . I know each one has been top tier teams but each one seems to have been full and boisterous.

Yep all the way through the half time period!. Great trip. Got in the square at 10am didn't realize the kick off time was 21:00. What a day!! I was in that lower tier. Mayhem!!

I did feel a slight twinge at the start but I wasn’t concerned then bang it just gave way. It’s the top half of my calf which connects to the back of the knee. It’s certainly a new one for me. I’m just resting now and doing the R I C E method

Jesus mate thank god your ok. I had a hot bath and felt terrible as well. I couldn’t sleep and was Hallucinating all night. At the end I thought never again but I’m itching to go again as I have unfinished business.

I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but until you've completed a marathon you don't realise how training is a crucial factor. I got bogged down with a few injuries leading up to the race and being honest with myself I probably only carried out half of the proper preparation. Because I...

Some great posts on here. Very Inspirational!! I didn’t sleep very well last night, hallucinations from my body trying to regulate itself and my legs seized up. I was like an extra out of the walking dead taking the kids to school this morning. What an experience though , the crowd was...

bitter sweet for me. Was comfortable at 13 mile on target for just over 4 hours. Then my calf went at exactly half way. and could hardly walk for the 2nd half. My garmin added on 0.4 of a mile extra. So think I hobbled in at just over 4 hours 45. I should be happy to complete my first marathon...

Cheers mate it’s good to know I’m not the only one in unknown territory. I did 18 miles with relative ease and had plenty in the tank whereas last week I was struggling around the 16 mile mark on my 20 mile run. Even though I have a bit of apprehension I’m really looking forward to it . I feel...

Interesting reading some of your marathon pace times. Most of you seem to be aiming between 3 Hours and 3 hours 30. That is well out of my reach if I'm honest. So well done Its my first time this weekend and I'm s**ting myself. I've managed to get 18 and a 20 mile run in the last few weeks and...

Kickback Podcast, with Nedum Onuoha This Week Noel Gallagher

You took the words out of my mouth. Noel seemed very relaxed. Normally he is very aloof and comes across the wrong way. He was in his element here and he was like he was in the boozer talking about music and football to one of his mates. Great listen.

    Liverpool (A) - Sun 3 Oct 16:30 | Pre-Match Thread

I think most City fans agree with this line up. Although Pep praising Sterling for the PSG performance has me thinking he could take the place of Jesus. I wouldn't be surprised if he drops Stones in out of nowhere as well for Laporte. I know Grealish was frustrated the other night but he never...

Is anyone actually going to Paris?

Apologies. It didn't look obvious on TV it just looked like the lower corner section . Good turnout with the restrictions etc

Jesus christ. Did 20 miles today. Was struggling from the 16th mile but managed to concentrate on a mile at a time. Been struggling with suspect tendonitus so really chuffed with completing the target. Absolutely goosed though. Average time was 9mins 48 per mile as expected.

I've had to rest up this week due to suspect Extensor Tendonitis. Felt great after my run last Sunday. Looks like I've lost all my momentum and cant continue with my training program for the marathon. All I can do the R-I-C-E Method.

    Etihad Atmosphere - 2021/22

I was genuinely impressed with the attendance when I got in the ground last night. I would say it was easily 46 or 47K. I had a great night and the atmosphere was superb in block 111 Do you reckon Pep is aware of the s**t storm he has caused? He has tarnished what was a good night. It’s really...

I’ve heard shin splints is linked to the top of the tendons in your feet. Been in agony today could hardly run for the train after the match tonight. I think a few days rest is required . So frustrating !!

After my 18 mile run on Sunday I felt fine. However woke up on Monday Morning with sharp pains in the top of both feet (metartarsal area) just done a 5 mile run in agony with it. Has anyone else had this ? Could it be something like tendonitis ?
