I'm not a big fan of Pattinson, so that may require a very very dull evening, to earn a viewing, no doubt it will happen though!

Ha, fair enough, just have to prise my wife away from the Christmas movies for 5 minutes first!

I've not yet seen it, as you read, but I think the similarities are in the rags to riches context, not that the characters are alike. That's how I read it though clearly I may be wrong.

Match Thread | Crystal Palace vs. Man City (07/12/24)

Sadly we've always had more than our fair share of fans that seem to almost demand a scapegoat to make them happy. Richard Edgehill for example, wasn't the greatest, but tried, he was destroyed by the boo boys, I don't get it, whilst they play for my club and try, I'll support them.

I really enjoyed it, great acting, great story, glad no reference to batman, the worst super hero imo, excepting the dark Christian Bale trilogy - which was excellent. I'm told that The Penguin is a The Sopranos 'lite' this has prompted my wife and I to look at starting The Sopranos soon...

Not a bad film, plus a certain gorgeous Miss Clarke, what's not to like?

Liverpool (A) PL - Post Game

We'll never know tbh, but how often have we been in form and fully fit and actually won at that shit hole recently? Let's be honest, not very often, we could have played like 70's Brazil (slight exaggeration) and still lost there, given our luck and poor finishing in the last few years.

Liverpool (A) PL - Post Game

I don't fancy us particularly against Forrest, it won't be easy, but baby steps, as long as Pep is in charge and can bring in most if not all of his targets, we'll be okay soon enough. As I said in the match thread, I'm not a happy clapper, but Pep has plenty of credit in the bank and would be...

Match Thread | Liverpool vs. Man City (01/12/24)

I'm not a happy clapper, I'm more manic depressive if honest, I expected to lose today, especially given our recent terrible form, but 2-0 is almost a positive. We've totally outplayed this lot many times and lost by more goals than this. At least I can remind the rags that the scousers...

Match Thread | Liverpool vs. Man City (01/12/24)

Unsurprisingly we have some absolute whoppers in the match day thread, Pep has more than enough in the bank to start again for next season at the VERY least. Get a grip. This season we are not the best in the league, seemingly well off it, we need a rebuild, would you rather Pep started the...

...and have one of this seasons many other goal scorers take up the slack? No, need an angry Erling and some quality support in my opinion.
