I have never been convinced by Given. Yes, he is a great shot stopper but he doesn't come for crosses, doesn't command his area, punches when he could catch and his distribution is woefull. I don't remember Hart commanding his area either but I think (on current form) I would prefer Hart.

Too early to judge Mancini but I have been very impressed so far (especially after watching Hughes's "unchangeables"). Mourinho has been succsesful and might do a good job for us but lets give Mancini a proper chance first.

I agree Ireland is still making runs but not getting picked out. Regards his tackling, he has always been good at winning the ball back but when it comes to a 50/50 crunch tackle he has always "bottled it". Barry and Robhino also stay well clear of 50/50 balls.
