The Album Review Club - Week #127 - (page 1545) - Definitely Maybe - Oasis

I’m not an Oasis fan and I would tend to echo @coatigans comments, but as I’m one of the few that have never heard this album in full I’ll give it the requisite numbers of listens. It does however bring back memories of when my brother and I owned a business and we used to use the annual...

Providing Rob’s happy to continue putting in the hard hours, keep the scoring it’s fun and possibly gives a slight clue to any newcomers wanting to listen to any previous nominations.

LISTEN LIKE THIEVES It appears I’m one of the few that own this album although I’ve not listened to it in decades.I do prefer it to ‘Kick’ and it starts very strong with the first four songs being very enjoyable and fun to listen to again.Unfortunately it then tails off with the exception of...

Blue Moon Playlist Review Club - Season 2, Episode 18 - BM Openers - Out on blue 6 (pg 353)

Hyped as another new Dylan at the time, an artist I love and a sound bloke. The best song from his debut album ? ‘Goin Down to Laurel ‘ Steve Forbert

Great theme lots of possibilities ,it’s going to be difficult to choose just 3. Watched tge Bob Marley film the other day on the plane, pleasant enough and helped pass the time ,but reminded me what a great artist he was. Natty Dread was the first album I had of his, ‘Lively Up Yourself’

The Album Review Club - Week #127 - (page 1545) - Definitely Maybe - Oasis

I bought this album based on the single LLT which I’ve always liked , I’ve not listened to the album for years but always preferred it to ‘Kick’ which was overplayed on the radio.Ive never bothered with anything else they did since but looking forward to reacquainting myself with this.

I had you down for liking SP but I also knew BWBM liked them so I thought he was the better bet as you might have gone left field. My wife’s hates a lot of what I listened to and also swears like a trooper, ‘get that fuckin shite off ‘ is one of her favourite phrases.
