It would be great business if they were younger or better. Negredo, I can sort of see the sense, he has a little bit of pace and a good left foot is a tactical advantage... still don't think he's any better than, say, Defoe. Osvaldo I just don't see it at all, I don't think he's anywhere near the quality of Tevez or Balotelli and there are question marks over his character.

I suspect City talking to Roma has little to do with Osvaldo ...

Lamela is a much more cultured player than Negredo, I'd take him in a heart beat. Marquinhos too. Oh god yes.

Jovetic is a much better fit than Lamela and would cost less although personally I'm not sure either is what we need as IMO we need a left sided Navas ideally. Marquinhos with you 100% on!

I don't know enough about Negredo to form an opinion but all I can say is, if we do sign him, that ill be getting behind him and all our other signings from the word go. Would much rather see us being clever with our signings and getting players in with the right attitude/character, than spending big just to 'send out a message' or to prove that were 'here to stay'. Thoroughly looking forward to next season and I'm adamant we will win the league and hopefully have a good run in the CL.

We have lost the fucking plot if we get rid of Dzeko and Tevez and buy Negredo and Oswhoeverthefuck without even making a net profit.

It would be about the same incoming and outgoing, the difference is wages and the fact Tevez would leave for sweet f.a next season.
