I think most of us saw Saturday coming to be honest. Yes, you can argue that there's reasons for our recent results but our record against Spurs both home & away is sketchy at best

Score early which we should have done Saturday and convert 2nd, which we haven’t done for a few games,Lisbon !!!

Defend properly for the First goal, put man and ball in the stand, so close to the touchline Guardiol!!!

Then it’s a win Saturday, not a loss???

Do the basics right, score goals :0)

I think ive written the league off. Really cant see us winning it with squad the way it is. People are saying get to January. we are not going to sign the quality and quantity we need in January. Maybe one if were lucky, that it.
For me from a league perspective its get top four and rebuild in summer 25.

Why is it that even with the best striker in the world our biggest issue is still chance conversion?

There has to be something we can do about it, play to Haaland’s strengths and sign some attacking midfielders or wingers that can actually finish.

Grealish, Savinho, Doku and Bernardo are fucking woeful in front of goal.

What are you on about, this is the season we finish outside the top 4 and win the CL when we aren't a favourite!

Seriously though we can have an off season, that off season cannot be finishing outside of the top 4 though. There are absolutely not 4 better teams in this league than us. That would be criminal.

Could be the top five given the UEFA coefficient system . We are currently top of the country coefficient ....early days though

We certainly need to address giving away the same goal/s every fucking game, it's quite obvious that we can't play the high line at the moment and need to alter our tactics. Secondly we need to fuck off this value for money attitude in the transfer market, we've got the cash, let's spend it on the best.

Exactly. We went 35 years without success, so we can wait a year and there's nothing to say we'll have to just yet. It's been a tough spell with injuries and poor performances but we're not miles away from being the best again. We clearly need a RB. We clearly need a couple more in midfield. But we're missing the best player on the planet and he'll be back next season. We're missing a young attacking talent in Bobb who looked like he'd be a star this season, he'll be back in January.

We could have suffered this decline in a previous season and ultimately we're 2nd in the league and two wins this week puts us in a great position to be straight into the knockouts in the CL and 5pts off top. The whole mood lifts and it's game on. And if we lose both, so be it. We'll be back. If we don't qualify for the CL then so be it, good luck trying to beat us in the league when we're playing Europa or Conference League football. Or maybe we won't be in Europe at all. Again, good fucking luck.

16 consecutive years in the CL WILL continue.

The FACup can be won in 6 one off games.
